That DOES sound pretty! And I can totally understand why it might seem scary. I hesitate with knot braids myself, but I found that this one wasn't so bad, and the take down was really easy too!

Like Lucy, this style terrifies me. I've done the knotted braid and it did knot up, maybe wetish hair would help, I have so many flyaways! But with the extra braids it is extremely similar to my "princess dos" I do. I use all different kinds of braids, and sometimes I wrap a braid from one side of my head over to the other, instead of meeting in the middle. I attach the braid to another section of hair by continuing braiding, and repeat back to the starting side. Pretty!

I wore it to work today and got some mice comments. I did rope braids as my accent braids since there's no way I'd get the tiny fishtail braids out without major breakage since my hair is so long and loves itself too much. Though the mermaid part of the braid was a bit too loose and I had to tuck half my hair up I thought that it was really simple, beautiful and not too damaging to my hair. I'm going try it tomorrow again after the shower if I have the time and I'll instagram it to you. // Sar

Definitely time consuming but you can substitute the small fishtails with regular braids!

Wore it to day. The take down wasn't too bad. My problem was that I'd been in a hot dry enviroment therefore my hair was super dry and frizzy. Detangled it when I came home and it wasn't to hard to brush out. Think that this is more of a once in a while hairstyle.

Very nice hairstyle. 😀💗 But the part, where you make this knotted braid in the back, is much too fast in motion, that no one can follow really how you do this. The speed should be slower in this part definitely, because such technique is rarely to be seen here on KZbin, please!🤨
