When I was in 4th grade I went on a class camping trip, and one of the girls in the cabin I was in didn't want to sleep because she was afraid of the dark. I remember she was on the other side if the cabin from me. So, I start humming the opening tune and suddenly everyone gets quiet and starts listening. I started singing this and once I was done everyone was quiet. No one said anything after that. I don't know if I freaked them out or if I calmed everyone down, either way I went to sleep after and no one talked about it the next morning.

Must’ve worked. You usually forget what you did around the time you went to sleep. They must’ve passed out during the song

This is according to the lyrics on screen and, honestly, this is for me to just learn how to sing the song (with my capabilities) so might as well type 'em here. Enjoy I guess... A gentle breeze from Hushabye Mountain, softly blows o're lullaby bay. It fills the sails of boats that are waiting, waiting to sail your worries away... It isn't far to Hushabye Mountain, and your boat waits down by the key. The winds of night are so softly sighing, soon they will fly your troubles to sea... So close your eyes on Hushabye Mountain, wave goodbye to cares of the day. And watch your boat from Hushabye Mountain, sail far from lullaby bay...
@CassieLopez4 жыл бұрын
fyi it isn't "key", it's "quay". Quay sounds just like key, but it means a place to tie up a boat -- like a dock. Not your fault -- the person who did the subtitles got it wrong too.

Clive Bindley No, not trying to explain anything. Just attempting to see the side splitting hilarity that you found in the misspelling or misinterpretation of the two. Or maybe im just bored and am posting puerile nonsense on a youtube comments section.
