Pastel Witch good idea. Even when I don't have a spiral sketchbook I will use scissors to cut out pages! I have a problem

Have you ever just skipped the page because ripping out pages hurt the sketchbook and you can't see your improvement quite well

Try making two sketchbooks: one that you put your "good drawings" in, and another you make a rule - NO REMOVING PAGES. Make it a space for experimentation.

I do that, too. One thing you can do is rather than ripping out the pages, you can glue in other drawings that you've done on loose paper, creating sort of a collage effect, and covering up the drawings you don't like.

i went from sharpies, to knock off of knock off markers (oleep markers, theyre really bad and basically just sharpies with more colors. and they broke, and dried out randomly) to copics, and lemme tell you the fucking blessing that was bestowed upon the paper

I love seeing the warm-up sketches and the sketches you weren't happy with alongside the ones that you liked. Sometimes I get discouraged when watching sketchbook vids where each page is an amazing finished piece. My sketchbooks definitely don't look like that, lol. It's nice to see the messy stuff mixed in with the more polished stuff. Love ur channel, btw!
