Not a big webtoon reader I assume, I’ll explain. Second male leads are the characters that always lose in the love triangle. It’s the competition to the male lead, often times he’s the main driver of the actual plot because he makes the other characters take action. Also half the fandom always wants him to get the girl…and he never does. 😭 Edit: sometimes he does win because plot twist: it’s a polycule. Those ones are great. 😘

Yes! They don't have isekai manga expectations so they all figure it out right away. But both worlds outside of the office/castle aren't swapped (as far as we know in season 2) so they have to work together to make it in the corporate world. One of the characters is an oracle and the get small hints of what deals and sales goals they need to hit to get back home or whatever.

Her military spending is low, arguably inadequate, as the only military of hers we ever get to see is a bunch of toads with spears who promptly get their asses kicked. They are a throuple. At first Dickins and Bridgerton both think Dale is just an unserious bastard but in reality he's just always getting embarrassed and is extremely confused internally. Everyone around him acts differently and nobody seems to actually know him plus all of his workers are somehow suddenly incompetent at their jobs so he just pretends like he doesn't care so much. He constantly has wardrobe malfunctions and the person who washes his clothes seems to always lose things. Honestly he feels like everyone else is in on something and he's the only one who doesn't understand. Dickens and Bridgerton get closer meanwhile and discover they were both isekai'd. Meanwhile at Dale's everyone around him is always frazzled or relishing in their power and new surplus of cash. That's how this all starts off and they eventually learn that Dale is actually just unlucky and they come to actually like his company and help find clothes that actually fit him and they grow closer and fall in love 🫶

Okay hear me out. Daleton is supposedly the only character who isnt from another world, right? So when they have to kill him in the big season 4 finale, *that* causes him to isekai, swapping with his Massachusetts self. And because they're just the same damn person, that means nothing really changes. ...and then they go to the sex dimension, as previously stated.

I love the idea of this hypothetical isekai. A whole office building get's hit by a giant truck and this show happens. Love the first season being a parody of isekai tropes and the season finally reveals they are all from the normal world. I would watch that shit so bad.

And maybe all the intros are in slightly different styles depending on the kind of genre the character's situation would put them in

Hear me out. Dickington (originally Dick from Massachusetts) was very Dale-esque before being isekaied, and even though Bridgerton runs off with Dale at the end, Dickington is still the first male lead. So I feel like the reason he shows up mid season 5 (and presumably joins the graphic sex?) is because in their Massachusetts life, she had a thing for him for being so Dale-esque. But in this new world she doesn’t have that same history with Dickington, she just sees him as an advisor in uniting the kingdom. They get the most screen time together, of course, so the fans think she has better chemistry with Dale (as they’re wont to do with second make leads) but that she’ll end up with Dickington, who she doesn’t appreciate properly. The reveal at the end of season 1 leads to a love triangle that actually leans towards Dickington, since she knows it’s her office crush. Except Dickington is totally convinced she isn’t into him now (he thought she was when the rumor spread mid season 1) because she knows he’s Dick Out Dick (he swears it only happened once, he just can’t live it down) from the office. So he starts spending more time with Dale because he doesn’t want Dale to end up like him, regretting his indecent days. Dale meanwhile realizes Dickington is into Bridgerton (and is too much of a himbo to realize she’s into both of them) so starts trying to set up Dale and Bridgerton. Season three is almost all in Massachusetts during season 1 and part of season 2, but I’d just like to shout out the Indecent Dale from Massachusetts missing the way his friend Dick Out Dick was before the whole office got turned around. They were good friends, once. Now he gets reprimanded for indecency by Dick, who threatens him with a plastic sword over it. It isn’t the same… Season 4, as they try to figure out a way to coordinate Dale’s death in both universes simultaneously, Dickington realizes that he can’t let Bridgerton be hurt by Dale’s death, and also that he’s grown to care for Dale as much as her. He becomes even more of a focus this season, building up the “first male lead” position even more. Bridgerton thinks he’s lost interest in her, and she’s upset, but Dale is there to pick her up despite being worried about Dickington seemingly giving up on her. Little do the two of them know that he was trying to find a way to save Dale and let Bridgerton be with him. He seemingly lets her go at the end of the season to be with Dale in the sex dimension, staying behind to hold off the assassination attempts on Dale coming from both the fantasy world and Massachusetts simultaneously. Season 5 (despite some fake fans calling it “just porn” and “confirmed to be just the creator’s personal fantasy”) is actually a deep character study of how Dale and Bridgerton’s relationship is affected by Dickington. They both feel his loss personally and in doing so can’t seem to let themselves truly be happy in the sex dimension. It’s actually really important to their arcs when they manage to bring Dickington over to the sex dimension at the end of the mid season finally. Dickington getting added in totally wasn’t an excuse for an oddly specific fetish requiring three people to get added, he’s the first male lead, the necessary component for Bridgerton to be happy with the *second* male lead as well.

As for someone who used to binge read a lot of isekai manhwa romance especially the villainess ones. This episode is definitely one of my favourites now. The world and lore building is very fun and funny xD I really wish this was a real series
