BTW,there are a few precious Prosser machines,still in use,to this day,making beads of all shapes and styles.

I wish I could be looking for mermaids tears I use to enjoy it but now my knees don’t allow me to do it. But, I met a older lady years ago on Narraganset bay I wondered what she was doing looking at the sand so close. She said, oh me and my grand children collect mermaid jewels. See they are to young to buy jewels. So I taught them how they can sometimes find jewels swept up by the waves. That mermaids sometime lose them for you to find. I have loved looking for mermaid jewels! 😊🧜♀️ jewel 💎 I saw a beautiful shell you missed I was go back go back but you couldn’t hear me. Lol a little bottle with a few pieces of small jewels and little sand would make a lovely pendent.

What are mermaid tears
@scottishmudlarking2 жыл бұрын
Many thanks! Mermaids tears refers to small sea glass - some say its sailors folklore, but that too may be attributing a new idea to an old vague historical reference - which is very common practice... In many respects the story seems quite closely related to other stories that tell about the troubles caused by breaching other worlds - the Selkie stories common in Scotland and Ireland have similar themes of loss and desire. We recounted a version of the Mermaids Tears story in the video I have included a link to - you will, no doubt, recognise the story, not least so because it recalls the Hans Christian Anderson story, The Little Mermaid, though, Anderson's mermaids could not cry... Thank you so much, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmKuiXiPibypja8

Thank you so much! That's a good question - the analytics are a bit of a mystery to us! I think comments help tell youtube to show more people the video thumbnail.
