I sincerely think that this is one of the best MERN tutorials on the web. I have done over 40 tutorials at this point both free and paid(I do not recommend), and very few people put forth the amount of effort and care that Dave did here-- especially in terms of the authentication process. I am constantly finding myself comparing other tutorials unfavorably to this one. Thanks for making this fantastic content for free, Dave! You're a gem!

We are going in a documented approach in the course : Like importing before knowing the features that we are going to implement. I know this course is beneficial for lot of intermediate full stack app developers but if you can add few minutes on what and why? Before implementing : this course will help for the begginers too I'm truly enjoying the course but this is my suggestion on the difficulty that i faced . Same occured on the redux coarse in advanced concepts. But now i understand redux better on learning here again. Thank you dave ! Keep up the progress

Amazing tutorial! I personally preferred you writing the code, since it was easier following for me, but the second half was helpful as well! :) I'm wondering if I missed something, but if you are able to access the API with Postman, wouldn't that also require role verification on the backend? I managed to create an admin user as an employee with Postman: 1. POST localhost:3500/auth | { "username": "Joe", "password": "1234" } 2. copy token into Authorization header (Bearer ...) 3. POST localhost:3500/users | { "username": "Joe2", "password": "1234", "roles": ["Admin", "Manager", "Employee"] } 4. Now you can log in as Joe2 in the frontend and do everything
