I would be one of the persons referenced at the end of the video. 60 minutes of continuous use of the Nurosym device at a variable power level high enough so that I "feel it well" caused panic attacks. The last time (3rd or 4th) I tried the full, recommended 60 minutes course, it took my anxiety to 100 and caused chest pain unlike anything I had experienced before. It was not only the usual sharp pain that could be attributed to the anxiety, but also a completely new sensation that I would describe as my heart being somehow forced to beat a very specific pace. I'm only 33 and had a brutal onset of generalized anxiety 3 months earlier which initiated these symptoms. Likely not COVID related. I took a short break from the device and (sweet desperation for a treatment) restarted using it at a sub-sensory power level and for only 5 minutes and increased the power level and time every other day. These events took place 4 months ago. I continued using the device daily and am currently using it for 35 minutes always at power level 8. I've had no known issue with this protocol. That last 60 minutes course 4 months ago marked a dramatic reduction in my tachycardia. However, on the very same day, I started cold exposure. My symptoms have been improving ever since. I eventually found that cold exposure temporarilly kills my tachycardia and dramatically helps with the anxiety. The Nurosym device does the same, but to a lesser degree. Not sure if I'll continue using it now. As Mikolaj said, it's a very powerful treatment that needs more long-term studies.

@Merogenomics4 ай бұрын
Vagus nerve knowledge is not new at all. Vagus nerve activation with electrical impulses have been described for more than 20 years too. But it is very slow build up of evidence because there is no interest in the west to pump millions to decipher the clinical benefits of vagus nerve activation on a large scale. Even use of vagus nerve activation in this way for depression is not that new either. I am currently studying for this topic for my next video in this series, and I think first clinical trial was already conducted just over 10 years ago. But in the last decade, in total there we only 12 small scale clinical trials investigating this, practically all in China. The results look very promising but I think there isn't much appetite for this knowledge in the west that already has its preferred standard options of antidepressants and psychotherapy. What is obviously new is the long COVID angle though

My brother had prostate cancer, was treated with the hormone shots then radiation. He got covid and he has all of this, especially the brain fog, anxiety and fatigue. He recently had yet another bout of the new strain of covid and it took him about 3 weeks to "get over" it but the fatigue is even worse now than it was prior, and with this most recent bout, it seems it affected his eyesight. I do wonder if because of the hormone shots he had to take before the radiation, depleting the testosterone, is the reason he has these symptoms. I have said all along I thought he has long covid.

So sorry to hear that. In the next video in the long COVID series, I am focusing on iron levels and how its depletion could be a strong contributing factor

I learned about it when reading research from the 70s and 80 and it's affect on Shingles. I watch all of your videos because you state facts and you give the information in a way we can understand it. I thank you for your dedication in researching and reading and breaking it all down for us. Also for the always amazingly beautiful scenery we get to see while listening. 😊

Kind sir - first of all thank you so much for your work ❤ I am Vaccinated 3x with mRNA and had no infection prior. Since then, I have been suffering from a red rash all over my body about 3-4 times a year, accompanied by severe headaches and extreme fatigue. This is followed by severely swollen lymph nodes, which swell alternately on the left and right side for weeks. In which direction would you suggest I get examined? And which blood tests or similar should I specifically request? Thank you ❤️
@Merogenomics4 ай бұрын
I would definitely be talking to your doctor about the swollen lymph nodes to make sure something risky is not happening. I am not a medical doctor and would heed their advice but I would also want to investigate in areas that physicians might not consider, which is to look for vitamin and micronutrient levels (such as iron, magnesium) and make sure they are not below normal levels

Hi Doctor Raszek. I appreciate your efforts to help brain fog in long covid. I know your device is about 700 USD-pretty steep and cannot be shipped to the US. Recently I tried taking Methylene Blue in low dose with pharmaceutical grade MB. I took it for 6 days and failed to see any positive results. If anything my brain fog increased and I noticed no gain in energy. I stopped taking it-but I was astounded that these trusted internet Naturopaths like Eric Berg were pushing this. I like your informative style in your videos. Keep up the good work (and check your sunglasses reflections for cloaked bigfoot!)

With all the research on covid and the spike proteins, are they checking out what frequency the virus is running on. What is the goal post between the human body and viruses. It seems with gene editing, there’s a merger going on, a crossover, a bridge. Which shouldn’t be. Out going, active healthy , positive people seldom get sick. That’s the goal post that I’m relating to. Also in manifestation or hypochondria, as some doctors would claim. We are living in strange times, stay healthy, Peace

I think it is a great shame that so many people in the medical world are reluctant to discuss the vagus nerve [and again I thank you for giving me the correct word for it]. Any animal, ourselves included, tend to moan when ill, which helps to activate the vagus nerve, and is, I am now sure, why the old hedge witch in the village said I should hum when Hong Kong flu did its rounds. The old remedy to soothe the nerve is lemon balm and lavender, though St John's Wort is very powerful too. I gather there have now been studies conducted that indicate that partiular herb is useful for treating AIDS and HIV but has to be used with caution.
@Merogenomics3 ай бұрын
oh yeah, if you are willing to sift through the scientific literature that is often disregarded for lack of enough proof of efficacy, many old hedge witch wisdom recipes shall be found for their magical healing properties :D The big problem is that we don't have large clinical studies done to "prove" how well we could be healing ourselves naturally as these are super expensive but the good news is that over time we can at least do meta-analysis of all the small "inconsequential" studies and show how well all of this can work. In the end, as a scientist, I am turning more and more frequently in the direction of "listen to the old witch". And if you don't know who that is, it is easy to start by just listening to any woman who is interested in community healing :D
@fionnaheller18733 ай бұрын
@@Merogenomics A lovely sentiment, well expressed. However, I have been encouraged to discover that, especially in recent years, mainstream authorities[NIH?] have conducted quite significant studies into the hedge witch wisdom of old and found that those old ladies were usually quite correct. I have always been fascinated that native American Indians quickly located a reasonably effective cure for smallpox in sarracenia venosa [pitcher plant] - ''fascinated'' because Mother Nature placed a potent plant in lands that did not have smallpox, rather than something as powerful in ones that did. Again, recent [recognised ]investigation, with an eye on monkeypox, have determined the squaws were right. I think that those who live close to their original form, close to nature, just know what plant does for what., which does make sense since we are designed to live ''in the wild'' rather than attached to a washing machine and all that represents.
