Gary Oldman said it on Friends: spitting is the sign of a great actor
@ashleyhall6098 Жыл бұрын
The spitting is no joke. I was sat halfway back in the theater during Merrily and you could see the plumes of spray everytime he sang. Everyone on that stage got a shower each show.

@brandie2007 have fun! It's an incredible experience! I'm a huge Groff fan but watching Dan do Franklin Shepard, Inc. was a real highlight. Can't wait til we get the cast recording.

I saw it right side second row opening weekend, going again the beginning of closing week, middle of the 4th row this time. Right in the splash zone haha it’s part of the experience!

I love them. The trio I didn't know I needed :)

I went to three Broadway shows last week and I can definitely confirm that the Hudson had the best seats of the three. Merrily We Roll Along was a revelation. I laughed many times and teared up a few more. Definitely see the show if you can. The songs hit much harder once you have experienced the story and how it develops. Oh, and I was outbid for a piece of Broadway memorabilia by Neil Patrick Harris, so that's a life memory.

This press tour must be exhausting
@michaeld.williamsiii9026 Жыл бұрын
I’m sure I can imagine it being exhausting indeed, from time to time. Regardless of how they look on the outside, I guess that’s what also makes them good at what they do too. Hopefully in the end, they’re doing some form of self care for themselves along with their mental well being if anything.
@meganann3876 Жыл бұрын
@@michaeld.williamsiii9026 Agreed. I’d love to act (give life to a story/human), but I’d strongly dislike a press tour.

I love them! But this interview is lacking. The hosts mention the Vanity Fair interview and then ask the exact same questions as in that interview. Poor hosting, poor interviewing. There are so many unasked questions that could have been asked.
@midniteillusion3 Жыл бұрын
I feel like this interview just asked all the same questions that have been asked. Poor job on the producer’s part.

Yeah I guess we need to get these guys on Hot Ones to get any original questions.

Nah it’s also a great production and brilliantly directed. I’ve seen the version done in the U.K. (largely the same as this one). Brings the piece to life in a really nice way and the score has always been absolutely heartbreaking.
