There is more to do in the area but these were the trails and auto tour we we most interested in doing. The drive itself was home to some butterflies and many birds...Herons, Egrets, Spoonbills, Red Winged Blackbirds, etc. We also found a gator on the way out and there were some kind of Rays in the water at one spot. I'm not sure what species. Very difficult to get video of them from such a distance.
On the hikes we did, we came across several armadillos. We also found a few pigs but only glimpsed one briefly. There was a possible bobcat sighting as well, though we have ne visual evidence.
The trees and flowers were the stars of a few sections like the beginning of the wildlife loop and the deep section of the palm hammock.
