I love the North Banana area! The bridge leads straight to Cocoa, the place I park to go on cruises is in the north Banana River area, thats the area I want to move to!

The plus to that area is close & easy access to the beach AND if you are going to Orlando, you can easily be there in under an hour

Merritt island is NOT a city but a community - no government and no taxes.

Hey Bryan, thanks for finding the channel, for watching a couple videos, & for the comments. You are correct, Merritt Island is not a city BUT it is an area of Brevard County known as Merritt Island that also has its own zip codes. Brevard County is who governs Merritt Island (along with the rest of the county that is outside any official city limits).
