I'm surprised that no one noticed that each of the animals being interviewed when the music plays has a specific tune for each one like with Nigel and Gary they have a choir as they are in the night with stars, Trixie and Captain Cuddlepuss have a organ that plays now and then and for Brain and Keith, its a good ol pub choir.

I love everyone trying to sing to the 12 Days of Christmas, but the dog brothers rapping it out in one section had me in stitches! Good or not, it's wonderfully funny. That and the guide dog's laughing fit for a while are a joyous addition to my day.

I would dispute that. The French word for partridge is perdrix, which sounds, in English, like pear-tree. So, a partridge et un perdrix, becomes corrupted, over time, to a partridge in a pear-tree.

Watched a lot of Creature Comfort episodes for adverts etc but have never seen this "Twelve Days of Christmas ". Absolutely superb. So funny. Look at the detail, public comments incorporated into the animation. So enjoyable to watch on Boxing Day. Aardman Animation started around 30 years ago. Amazing! The two dogs on the street, absolutely cracker-lackingly funny! Thank you. Smiled cheek to cheek. ❤😂😊

You weren't wrong though, the original(?) version in 1780 had 'colly' birds meaning blackbirds (colly = coal-black). It was changed to calling birds in the 1900s so both are correct! 🙃

I always laugh a lot whenever I’m watching these. HOWEVER, when it gets to the bit where three chickens are all singing La Marseillaise - ever so slightly out of sync with each other - THAT’S the moment where I totally fall apart laughing like a loon, clutching my sides giggling and erupting into even more laughter whenever I happen to glance over at the tv screen and I see those wonderfully wonderful French hens. ❤
