As a northern California native let me start out with a huge EFF YOU! Usually when out-of-staters talk about my state they're referring to the Southern California/L.A. area. So I can join you in the "BOOOO!" on that. As I had to tell Tim, there's more to California than Los Angeles! Now, what I was going to say was that Austin was my favorite member of the group too with a very unique voice that I love. I'm going to miss him greatly. But Bastien has a great voice and is a welcome addition back to the fold. He's been part of the Home Free family almost since their very start in 2000-2001. I've got tickets for two of their shows in just a couple weeks and am avidly looking forward to personally welcoming Adam #3 back to their stage. Love your reactions. Hopefully you can check out the Bass Gang. They're a cappella and in the Home Free circle of friends. Tim joined them for their video Hooked On a Feeling which was my introduction to those four very talented men.

I'ver read that this is a cover of a song by Volfpack (?) I've never heard the original though. Rob and Austin have distinctly different tones and accents (Rob's from Minnesota, Austin's from south Georgia). Their singing & harmonies are always terrific and Adam went berserk on the beatboxing! My grandfather used to have one and drove me around when I was a kid it's really big, especially to a child, but I thought it was cool. I agree also, the only good thing about CA would be the weather for me.

Yes, I learned to drive in a land yacht (mid 60s Chevy Impala) that lacked power anything & had ‘3 on the tree’. Years later I owned a Caddy that had a roof, power everything, but still required patience to do any sort of acute change of direction. 😅
