Good stuff, Scott. I always pick up a new idea or something to try on your videos and really appreciate your time creating them. Finally got out on Monday and caught a few on just about everything. I even picked up a nice wild brown on a 22 midge dry. First time out in 3 months, so relaxing. God bless and hope you have a great Christmas. Maybe see you again on the Delaware next year! - Chris in VA

That’s a good 1, Scott. I love lively legz but don’t see many ties using all 6 legs. I like it. Thanks for sharing and have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. PS was on the Tully today and fouled hooked a big brown….sucker. Did work up 1 trout on a wolly bug, but it was a slow day in otherwise nice conditions. Hope to see you somewhere soon.

Thanks scott enjoy your work.i wanted to know your thoughts on the drop shot system your buddy dave uses
@pawoodsnwater755111 сағат бұрын
@@russellogden8071 Hi Russell! Well, Dave catches a lot of fish using it, now he uses it with a strike indicator, I personally don’t use indicators and I also don’t like casting that setup, it casts more in a lobbing fashion with hang time. I can casts much lower and with a line drive cast if needed. But it’s still a very effective method of nymphing. To each his own. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Excellent video !! A+. Just 1 question, what is your typical leader length from the fly line to the 1st fly and what taper is the butt section? Merry Christmas, Thanks
@pawoodsnwater755112 сағат бұрын
I have a video from last Summer in ‘23 called My Leader Setup, check that out. I start with a 50” Cutthroat Furled Shorty Leader as my butt section, then 5 ft. Of 4x Flouro, then the tandem rig. Hope that helps. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

What version of Seaguar do you use? Is it the Blue label?
@pawoodsnwater755110 сағат бұрын
Hello Brian! No, I use the Red Label, actually I’ve even used the trout/salmon Flouro Seaguar brand which is stronger and more equal in diameter, but a little more expensive, but still cheaper than fly fishing name brands. But I’m ok with the Red Label. Hope this helps.
