I had a feeling you were going for snow with those little spots of white! I thought it looked exactly like that! Then I realised if I were to use an ocher or red I could totally use it as fall leaves too! Great pattern and as always your descriptions were so clear! I worked in the round and made myself one of those ear warmer bands.

Oh Courtney what a nice pattern (again!)!! I'd loveee to make gift bags with this design...Do you have a tutorial on how it's done? It would be super to make little bags and line them with holiday material (if I can figure out how to do that too).. great idea to either put inside a Christmas stocking or just replace the traditional stocking with a gift bag crocheted with your design!
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Windy! I don't have a tutorial for this specific design in the round but all you have to do is leave off the +4 stitches. You just chain the multiple of 14 and slip stitch to format the ring. From there you work the repeats given in the video working in every single stitch to keep your count. I do have 2 in the round videos that will show you what I mean.you would just seam your bottom to make the little bag and could add a button for a closure. A star button would be super cute!

kzbin.info/aero/PLU_G451k47sHjvq5C4GHn7PJ-ocTRKVuW The playlist I linked above is the HOW TO playlisr, it has videos on how to bind off and sew in the ends. Here is one specific to sewing in ends from that playlist, I've done a few others, same technique though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3y5f6d8ac11ptk Hope this helps!

Love this just learning this technique. So is every other row always a solid color? Never have to cut and carry?
@FiberFoxStudios2 жыл бұрын
No you never carry your yarn in this type of Mosaic Crochet (overlay Mosaic). We work with a color A and a color B. Your odd number rows are one color or yarn (you can use color changing yarns) and your even number rows are the other color. This particular one is the solid white every other row but that's not like a rule you have to follow. I've got a playlist on here with color tip videos so you can see some other options in general since you are new. Linking playlist for ypu in case you are interested, 😁❤️ kzbin.info/aero/PLU_G451k47sHKk03bYvCWpRbkSbDz2oSe

DOROTHY I AM SO SORRY! You know what I think happened is I made a mistake in editing and a couple of stitches are not shown so when we should be working together it jumps and at I'm on the last 3 or 4 stitches of the repeat all of sudden. But the recap does tell you what to do at least but you won't see it all. I have no idea how to fix that or if it's fixable at all. I think I would have to redo the entire thing. 😅 so so sooo sorry!!! I wish I had realized that months ago when I still had the video file on my phone
