I can’t believe how fast October came and went like I was behind decorating too got it all done but I can’t believe it’s over and exactly what you said it’s depressing to find full on Christmas all throughout October it takes the joy out of Halloween guess we’re selfish ghouls round here because honestly Halloween starts at the end of June and we get to shop 3 months but still 💩itty that October is full of Santa’s and freaking reindeer 🤣like I barely started the krumpus search but so glad you put out Vlog O Ween ! Hey Ghoul Hey !! I am a wee bit late getting to this post and the timing was just what I needed. We had a huge weather system come through B.C. and it devastated the coastal areas washing out roads and messing communications ( phones ) in areas around the province ,making it impossible to get even food and medicines to the interior. I went to do my normal shopping yesterday and that when I found this out . Of course shopping was a nightmare but I got home in one piece with milk (whole story there) I was wiped . You my dear ghoul absolutely shone through the screen picking my spirits up :) I was sorry to hear you felt unwell ( IBS here) and I felt for you

On November 7th, I ate dinner and my stomach started to hurt and then I started throwing up...long story short, I ended up in the hospital needing emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder which was full of stones and so I totally understand the stomach issue situation. Glad you are feeling better.

Tummy/digestion issues suck! I was pretty much fine until I had to have my gallbladder removed. Now I have developed diverticulitis and I can totally relate. Even though I am careful about what I eat, I still have flare-ups that pretty much kill me for about a week or so. I don't want to eat but know that is not an option. Watching your videos always makes me feel better about getting through it because you are always so open about your issues and how you deal with them. 💀

I found it overwhelming that Christmas came out the way it did. Halloween came out in broken pieces. It was like the warehouse found scraps and sent them out, I never saw a fully stocked Halloween anywhere. Christmas started coming out in October, and now its just in your face no matter what store you go too. Homegoods had Christmas fully stocked in October, but only had random pieces of Halloween scattered through the store. When are we going to catch a break? 2022, can that be our year?? One ghoul can only hope.

I wasn't able to do any Halloween videos this year sadly, as my parents surprised my family with a trip to Florida and Disney for the week of Halloween! I even got to ride on the Haunted Mansion for the first time ever, and got the LAST pair of Nightmare before Christmas ears at the Disney Springs main shop! My niece and I also got a full bag each of Trick or treat Candy! Jade, I heard a long time ago that most of what makes your eyes water from onions are in the ends of the onion, like the little knots at the ends, so I always cut those off first, and then put those along with the skins in a leftover plastic grocery store bag, tie it up and then run the whole onion and knife underwater for a couple seconds and it works pretty well.

Just yesterday I was pondering how to do Christmas decor and I was like ‘I WILL REPURPOSE HALLOWEEN’. I got a late start to Halloween this year (Damn chest colds plagued our fam the first half of October: NOT CUTE). I ordered some snow globes from Target today. Ever since I saw the movie, Krampus, I am obsessed with snow globes with houses in them. I’ve been doing a vintage/Krampus Christmas the last couple of years and I love it. It works well for our household and all the family heirloom ornaments.
