Hey Wes...I didn’t do anything to my mains, but did the front nose gear mod, most important thing I’ve found to help with the bounce is to get that CG to 86mm by moving the main board back to the aft holes so first battery can go back as far as possible, mine and the other guys at our field lands perfectly, thanks for sharing buddy 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Which landing gear makes more sense on which surface? I have a grass runway and my A-10 has a towed main landing gear as it comes out of the box.

Is it because of the king of gear with the outside spring? What about using trailing-link gears?

Nice overview, but you're not changing the retracts... you're changing the struts/gear. What about the nose retract? How did you keep that from breaking?

Giggity. Ha ha, nice job showing the process.

The oleo struts dont absorb the horizontal force when landing on a rough grass. What about dammage on the wings?

Never hurt the wing unfortunately I don’t own this bird and the owner wanted these so I did them.

I’ll never fly this EDF. Way too big, and seriously heavy. I’m still not convinced that on two 6s batteries it get off the ground. I also think it would need a 4000 foot runway to get airborne. With that said, I ordered the gear/strut upgrade when I purchased the plane, so I might as well put them in. (Might get me an extra dollar at the garage sale) I ordered the front gear as well. That was a mistake correct? The one currently in the plane and the one I ordered are one in the same, correct?
