hey I tried to make this project but when I test it.. my control has a very long delay .. and it will just spin around even if I am turning the pot. it will read the potentiometer after almost half a minute. I don't know if it is because of my connector . but I followed your instruction and there is no error in my code. please help me. thanks in advance

Just change to yield return null in the coroutine, insted of yield return new waitForSeconds.

Unojoy is the best option to use uno as a controller . Unojoy act as a real game controller to the host USB (even work on smartphone ) . So we can play any games with this.

Just curious, is there a more robust way to check/use serial ports? I’m thinking of telling the code to try all serial ports at first, and listen for an ‘identifier’ from the Arduino. This should eliminate the need to match ports manually. Is there already a more efficient/easier way to do this? Or am I a prodigy programmer? Thanks!

Great video @Mert_Arduino, I like the way you show How to setup the physical wiring and the use of the foam as a base. So smart! For information, there are some no coding solutions available for unity that can control Arduino and even the Arduino just needs one standard sketch, so no custom code needed.

Mert Arduino and Tech Thanks for the reply! Ive double checked my connection and everything, the potentiometer does function in unity as controller, but after awhile it starts to smoke. The potentiometer seems to be not the problem since ive tried swapping the acc/deacc one to the handling one. Could it be because its giving too much voltage to the first potentiometer and the far one is fine because it receives less??

The Unity Console is giving me this error message: *IOException: No such file or directory System.IO.Ports.SerialPortStream.ThrowIOException ()* I clicked on it and it highlighted the "Car" hierarchy. I am currently unable to control the car using the keyboard. Did I accidentally delete something?

It's bad habit to hardcode the variables. Maybe you will plug it in the wrong port! You have to have the choice to select the ports.
