CaughtInTheRain97 yes!! This is exactly why this show broke my heart so much. Merlin devoted his life to Arthur and never asked for anything in return. He didn't want the praise. He just wanted Arthur to be able to fulfill his destiny, and he wanted to be part of it with him. They both loved each other so much and were so devoted to one another. I wish so much that the show would have gone on longer, and that it would have ended differently. I just don't have words for what these two have done to my heart. I am forever sad about them. :(
