As a French who plays the game in English, talks in English and only watch English rl content, I can tell you English is better. It's not like they are struggling with the language, they are all fluent, and the coms are pretty much automated. "I got it" "I'm left" "I got zero boost" "fake it" etc. In another language though, like French for me, everything sounds awkward. I need to think about everything I say before, and literally translate it from English. This makes it harder and longer to communicate (for me) and to understand weird translations (for my teammates). I don't know if that's the case for them, but all that to say that the comms might actually get weaker instead.
