That just means that the mission of the Lord was accomplished! Our gifts to sing, pray, preach, etc... are definitely glorious. However, the message in the song is "what kind of man would give up his life for me"? And the answer is... "Jesus"! Most music that is labeled "gospel" doesn't even mention Jesus Christ. The will of God for man to be saved, repentance or redemption, life, death, resurrection, or ascension are not expressed. Each time I hear you sing this song it brings back a part of my life that I tried so hard to understand being a child sitting in church at all times. On the wall above our heads in Sunday School was a picture of a lamb laying at the foot of the cross. I drew that picture until I perfected for a child of my age and one faithful day Rev. Arthur Banks explained it to me to saying the lamb represented JESUS and that cross represents the cross THAT JESUS THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB CARRIED TO CALVARY. TO SAVE SOMEONR LIKE ME. Pastor I must be perfectly honest with you I use your Singing Ministry to help me with spreading the word of God its seems they understand that Jesus so loved this world and us not one but all. I thank God for sending his word to me through this phone. One day I was watching a movie an ad came on and when I skipped it your song was playing what kind of man. I was feeling really depressed so I kept listening and in a short while I had nothing but praise and my faith was lifted up again and that is where I am today and I thank God for sending me what I always need.
