@@brendalovesmariah That's not what happened. From the moment he woke up from the accident, Jason was adamant that Jason Quartermaine was dead, and he had nothing to do with that person. He had no desire to be in a relationship with Keisha. They were never going to work it out, because as far as Jason was concerned she was never his girlfriend, and therefore there was nothing to work out. As for AJ, he absolutely did love Keisha. They didn't just sleep together, they gradually fell in love. He wasn't using Keisha, or anyone else, to get back at Jason, who he loved before the accident. In any event, being with her wouldn't have gotten back at him, since Jason didn't care about her.

I am so glad the Qs and Keesha remained true to form and tried to force Jason to be Jason Q because I love the Sason relationship, but if the Qs had actually listened to Jason...they may actually have got a son that actually loved them instead of barely tolerating them. The undying love and loyalty he feels for Sonny, Robin, Carly, etc. could have been Alan's, Monica's and Keesha's if they had just listened to what Jason had to say and if they treated him as an adult who wasn't Jason Q..

I never understood why Jason treated his family like such shit after the coma. All they ever did was try to love him. I have a friend this really happened to. I had to reintroduce myself to him and show him pictures of us together in our friend group for him to know for sure he knew me. But he was never angry or violent and he was so happy and grateful when people who knew and loved him acknowledged him and loved him regardless.

I guess I can understand his testiness, too, but I think he really over reacted when he got up and left. He pretty much threw her arms off him and practically physically threw her aside. I think I remember later Dr. Tony explaining his over reaction was due to his brain damage, but I can understand Keesha being shocked and upset by his reaction to her. I'm glad AJ was there to comfort her.

Jason was a lost soul and Sonny could see it - being he was that way once himself. I watched this during the COVID-19 pandemic at a time when Sonny had fallen off a bridge with Julien Jerome who died. The Cliffhanger right now is whether Sonny is alive or not. (I hope Maurice Bedard is only on vacation. ;) at this time.)

It was Steve Burton's wish for the character change to stretch and grow his acting abilities! He was getting bored with Jason Quartermaine the well liked rich goody two shoes character and he wanted to work with Maurice Benard so they had to create a convincing reason for Jason Quartermaine to give Sonny Corinthos the time of day.....it was either this change or he was going to walk so and they didn't want to loose the actor so Jason Morgan was created with no intentions of ever bringing Jason Quartermaine back per Steve Burton's request!

Jason didnt do anything to Keisha, and it was AJ fault. Keisha was just like the Q's, they didn't give Jason the space he was looking for, and they treated him like a little kid, wouldn't let him drive his own car, and didnt accept Jason for who he was, they probably would have got Jason love and respect if they didnt try to change him. Jason was loyal to Sonny and Carly, because they allowed him to be who he was, never tried changing him and they treated him like a man who had the right to choose what he wanted for his life. The Q, never did that and that's why he for better part of a decade, wanted nothing to do with them.

Also when Drew was believed to be Jason, but he couldn't remember, Sonny and Carly - especially Carly - were just as forceful as the Quartermaines were over him remembering and going back to being the Jason they knew. So they're no better.

Sonny let Jason choose for himself, infact Sonny never wanted Jason to be his enforcer, so! But Jason wanted to protect Sonny and his family. Sonny tried kicking him out more than once, the first time, Robin asked Sonny to let him out, he was mad at Robin for sticking his nose where it didnt belong, Sonny let Jason go, but he stayed and waited for Sonny to give him his job back. I absolutely adored Sonny, Jason and Carly friendship, loyalty and love they had for one another.

He's supposed to be completely different, that's how they were able to introduce a new actor playing the character. How would you feel if they brought in Billy and tried to make it a seamless transition between him a Steve Burton and just have Billy play the Jason Morgan we all knew before? Because Jason is such an iconic character on the show, they had to flip the character to bring in a new actor. And of course he's completely different. When he woke up from that car accident, he was completely different then too. Remember, the cold, calculating Jason that worked and lived for Sonny and Carly wasn't what Jason started out being.
