That was SUCH a fun interview. They both seemed like they genuinely enjoyed each other.

Now i understand why her acting is so brilliant. She thinks everything through- even her face as Margaret Thatcher. To tell the truth, at times I wondered if they switched between Thatcher and Streep, and toward the end I realized she had acted the entire person with everything that Thatcher was: brilliant. I live in Germany. Julie and Julia is on our ZDF Mediothek in Germany. I am so happy to be able to see and listen to her voice in the film. This is legend in every way.

What an interesting, funny, thoughtful, observant, special person is Ms. Streep. Just the sort of person it would be a joy to be friends with.

Meryl Streep is amazing. The vocal coach did help Thatcher. I learned to speak in a lower tone to be more respected.

This is a visceral and beautiful exchange. If they were different women and not great at their craft it could have been uncomfortable to cringe-worthy.

This is so great in so many ways, two smart, experienced and savvy gals having a thoughtful conversation chock full of great info we can relate to. Thank you! I still remember when I had a boyfriend I used to share my opinions with. And if my opinion was different he would say “you are resisting me”. That relationship was bound to fail. Thank goodness.m

I would have liked "The Devil Wears Prada" and Streep's role in it more, if it was not just an advertisement for an Italian fashion house that struggled through the late 2000s and needed all help it could get.
