I think this is the best demo I’ve seen of the California Tweed. Great job!

Hands down, the best I've seen for this amp. N'Stuff does a good job, but I preferred this walk through a bit more thoroughly

You suckers ought to post more often on account of how popular the store is. I reckon the videos would catch on and grow in popularity.

No idea how you were able to stand that close to that amp at those volumes

Almost bought this amp. Is it normal for the amp to pop when turning the watt knob ?
@guitarsanctuary4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are revoicing the power section each time you change the wattage knob, so it is normal to hear it make an audible pop if you do it without having the amp in standby mode.

Is 10 watts or 20 watts good for bedroom level or is it too loud?
@cjharv210 ай бұрын
Its fine for at home, i usually practice at 10 or 20, but each setting has a unique sound

Which Mesa Boogie amp is the most versatile?
@guitarsanctuary4 жыл бұрын
It would really depend on what voices that you are going after. The California Tweed is a single channel amp, going more after vintage tones, though with the added versatility of the selectable power and the master volume. If you need true channel switching flexibility you'd want to look at the Fillmore, Mark Series, TC Series, or Rectifier Series amps, depending on what tones you need/want.

Well without getting into what it is exactly you’re looking for or what type of music you play if we’re talking just share one-amp-does-it all-type thing I say their mark five is their most versatile there’s nothing you can’t do or can’t play with those amps they have everything from A to Z look up some reviews of the Mark five or the Mark 5:25 Those amps literally do everything but make you coffee 👍

The TC100 is objectively the most versatile Mesa amp. 3 channels with a wide range of sounds, reverb and solo boost, built in power soak and cab clone for volume reduction and recording, and it accepts three kinds of tubes. Gino may prefer the Mark series and that's perfectly fair, but the 25/35 only have two channels and less power which again, makes it objectively less versatile.

Either that LP is too dark - over wound or the impedance is mismatched on the preamp. Would be much better with p90

This is the douchiest store I’ve ever been to. They don’t know who I am. I’ve gigged internationally- been playing over 35 years. If I would have dressed like a rock star (not saying I am) maybe they would have treated me like a person. They basically told me not to touch anything. Never going back or buying anything. I know there are tire kickers and fold that scratch stuff but I’ve been to gruhns and Rudy’s and Austin vintage and they at least talk to you and ask of there’s anything you want to check out. I felt like I was in a Ferrari dealership and if I had a Rolex on they’d talk to me. But they did have a nice “hey I know a and e pentatonic on my white guy strat” clothing section. Oh and an impressive PRS section -again douche-vile.
