That plexi gets into jcm800 territory. Excellent pedal, the Gold is sweet not muddy at all. Love the string definition it has..

I think if you drove the amp you would not need a distortion pedal? I would not use one, I have a Mesa 5/50 Plus Head 2 channel. I can get plenty of over drive at any volume. This, with most pedals requites some kind of noise gate etc.
