It's either Kantera, Kant or Għażliet for me. For Kantera, listening to the full song would have been better to get a better idea. Both Għażliet and Kantera have the Maltese ethnic and cultural elements in them. Kant is catchy but I fear it might end up the same fate as Loop.

I love popera, but this is just not for me. It's a showpiece song but the track itself isn't something I'm playing in the car. Could it qualify at Eueorvision? Maybe, but it would need a VERY solid staging package. There are stronger songs here that would have better chances of qualifying imho.

Look I appreciate Malta giving us a genuinely good national selection and good first impressions (I assume they watched your video about where did the non qualifiers go wrong ) for me personally I don’t think there is a skip in here song wise . I agree some tracks aren’t for Eurovision but I genuinely think Malta is serving. My only criticism is I think in these song writing camps maybe actually get native English song writers because some of the songs in these national selections are very on the nose lyrics and looks like some of them just copied and pasted into google translate. Now who do I want to win I have to go with Kant but I think heaven sent will win which I mean not my cup of tea but I do know has a fan base already within the fandom.

R&B could turn Nathan into something amazing. For starters I say let's sing "Concrete" in Maltese, make it less trite, change that god-awful title and it's solid. I happen to like generic pop if it's catchy (check!), sung by a talented singer (check!) and doesn't make me feel stupid while I'm humming the lyrics under my nose (fail!).

My favorites are: Kristy Spiteri - Heaven Sent: I really like this one, I think it’s very unique and has a lot of potential to showcase her vocals and some interesting staging! 🙏🏼 Kelsey Ballante - 365: I like how pop-y this one is! She has a great image and I think she has great potential and could bring fun staging. ❤️ Miriana Conte - Kant: This could be the viral moment of the year honestly, I love her charisma and energy. She sells it very well and we know she can sing! 🤟 Justine Shorfid - Still I Rise Very dynamic mid-tempo ballad? Idk how to describe it, but it gives both quality and class. Could be great for sleek staging. NOTES: Nathan - Concrete: Love him, but I agree his immense talent and passion for his work and the contest deserves an incredible song in a more perhaps “him” sound, idk exactly what that means lol, but I guess seeing him try other genres would be great. Awesome effort again tho! He will get his chance with that drive and talent! 🫶🏼 Martina Borg - Yo Listen Thank you for recognizing this! LOVE it, I think it adds a nice different sound to the selection. Love the chorus! Overall, great selection, Malta! Very impressed!
