In Part 1, you will observe the model setup and the application of mesh adaptation based on wall boundary layers and pressure gradient. It will demonstrate how these adaptations function without employing geometry-based techniques for calculating pressure drop and whether the mesh adaptation can enhance this calculation without utilizing geometry-based methods.

Very good video and very much needed. Thank you. Please, if you feel the following questions are too many to reply to, do you mind answering at least the first one? 1. Do the selected boundaries get adapted for pressure gradient? or do they have their own criteria for adaption? If the latter is true, what's that criteria, and where/when in the Fluent GUI was it specified? 2. Was there a reason you didn't include the upper limit of pressure gradient in the adaption (i.e., > 3000 [Pa/m])? 3. (32:38) Does the post-adaption orthogonality of 0.01, adjustable in the General Adaption Controls window, so that we don't have a disqualified grid after adaption is done?
