MESHENLO KATH URGES NAGALAND GOVERNMENT ON AGE RELAXATION FOR RECRUITMENT EXAMS

On September 20, 2024, Meshenlo Kath voiced his support for aspirants seeking age relaxation in recruitment exams during a media interaction at the NPCC office. He highlighted the signature campaign, where over 700 aspirants petitioned the Chief Minister, Deputy CM, and Chief Secretary from July 1 to 22. Kath noted that the previous 2-year age relaxation expired on April 22, 2023, benefiting only a few overaged candidates. He compared Nagaland's current limit to other states, where relaxation ranges from 37 to 45 years, and expressed frustration over the government's inaction despite repeated pleas.

Age relaxation from 35 to 37 shouldn’t be problem for Govt. Just make it 37 for the rest of our life for every govt jobs like other states.100yrs later they’ll know what changes need to be make so without making things complicated make it 37 for all the age group. RIO govt please read my comment.

Age relaxation should be given Based on the year the pandemic happen(2020 to 2021) Which give a data that The year 2019 a graduate age group will be 21 years approx Now they need 21+14+2 years Which will give them 35 year + 2 years pandemic Which means the age relaxation should continue till 2019+16 years i.e 2035

Whilst appreciating Sir Meshenlo Kath for the support of our demand, I am also baffled about His idea of extending age relaxation only for FIVE years as this would do injustice to other COVID affected aspirants because only those born between (1988-1992) will be benefitted. This will only create more altercation among the affected aspirants and the same issue will arise in the coming days. If the Govt. were to extend age relaxation, it should be inclusive of all affected aspirants of COVID 19 i.e upto 37 years irrespective of their current age and not only for a particular age group.

Need to stand up and fight for fair selection in exam which is much more important than age or anything. The selection is 100% unfair. NPSC hiding the marks are 100% proof that the selection is unfair and people needs to enquire about that. Even if they give marks, it takes year after declaring the result which clearly shows they're arranging the marks according to who paid them money and who backed with politics. Declaration of result means the marks has all been totaled, then why is it so hard for them to just released the marks right after result?

What will i do with age relaxation when Nagaland department isn't releasing advertisement. Eg- Educational dept hasn't released advertisement since 2015, Nssb is daylight backdoor scheme.

One such solution could be revisiting the age eligibility for certain exams or opportunities, such as setting it to 21-40 years as of 1.01.24. From my perspective, this age spectrum seems feasible, balancing opportunities for both younger and older candidates. Different state different rules . What is Applied and worked in other states may not result the same in our state. But considering the age relaxation and also covid issue, the govt should consider. It'll be hard to compete against the mid 20s generation😂😂 but at least they can try and govt can make everyone happy❤😂

is it more than 10 years not enough to clear exam ?just a thought...change of mentality is also needed..dont always depend on gov job...i think the issue is not about age relaxation... its about vacancy in gov dept.. age relaxation does not equate less unemployment.. only to the people who have passed out and are effected by covid should be considered for age relaxatioin.
