Yes that’s why I don’t use it anymore . I use either extreme wet line or Camille Rose gel. I used to use Aunt Jackie but she has flaxseed oil that broke out my neck.

Yes I bought that sponge thing and it did the same to my hair. It looked like a pack of broken in hair oodles n noodles 🤣 but your definition was more accurate. That’s what happened to me honestly. Which why I had to chop it before. Honestly once it’s damaged from color or chemicals. It’s best to start over. The integrity of your curls won’t go back to how it was when the bonds were strong and not broken. Gotta chop it. Or transition again if you don’t want to go that route. 💕

Well your hair needs to start getting deep conditions weekly! It’s so important because it’s more dry after being chopped, especially after relaxers. Find out your hair porosity by doing hair porosity strand test( drop in water to see if it floats or sinks) there’s a Lot of videos on KZbinon how to do it. Then find products that help that type of hair. The key is moisture!! Make sure you keep your hair hydrated every couple of days with leave ins or sprays. Water is the best! Eventually you will see what your hair likes. And then stick to it! Have a regimen. Tour hair will flourish. Don’t over manipulate it. 🥰 and ALWAYS WEAR A SATIN BONNET AT NIGHT. Try the eco styler gel and use my technique in this video. See how your hair responds. I went step by step. 💕

You wanna wash it at least once a week with a deep condition with heat. Apply leave ins as needed throughout the week. The key is to keep the hair moisturized at all times. Don’t let it get Dry. But every hair type is different.

Hey girl! So glad I ran into your channel 🤗. I recently chopped my natural hair to do a restart on my journey and it’s about the same length. I don’t have the products you mentioned, just the Mielle brand. For some reason, it leaves that white residue in my hair and I hate it. If I switch to a different product or find something that’ll work for my hair, that’ll be great! Anyway, will have to try this method out on my little head 😆. How do you keep your hair moisturizer during the day and what do you do to it at night? My hair drys out and I have to reapply products.

Priscilla Johnson deep conditioning weekly well help train your hair to keep moisture. I bring a small spray bottle to mist it if need be. At night I lightly saturate it in the shower with warm water.. add a light hair milk or leave I. And seal with a light oil. Then place bonnet on every night. You need to know your hair porosity. Low or high will show you how to take care of your hair and how to maintain moisture. I have low porosity hair so I have to use heat weekly to deep condition.

I chopped mine but I have quite a few problems with my hair due to lupus and medications. Also as a result it’s very thin in the the front, like it creates bald spots at times. She’s definitely more of a 4A. When she started talking about baby hairs and finger waves on the side… yea 4C hair is not doing that! Still a great video tho. I use these same techniques on my son’s 4C hair. I’m about to big chop my own so I guess I know more than I think about managing 4C curls. Lol Have you tried the Curl Definition Training mold and Gel? It was amazing on my sons hair. I didn’t think he had curls.

Hello, I loved this video. . I subscribed. What you said about the curl sponge is true but it all depends on how tight you want your curls. I use it all the time but I don't like my curls tight at all. . . . just a few circular motions and am good. Looking forward to more videos.

I want to know what it looks like dry...because yeah it's shiny and popping after you put all that gel in, but does it stay shiny like that all day? Do the gels flake up? I need to know.
