Not to mention they were doing this shit in late 89s early 90s and think about how long, for reasons I'll NEVER understand, the metal community finally started taking notice and all of a sudden every band was and is trying to rip off and sound like Meshuggah. There's only one. 🕳
@OrlandoAponte2 жыл бұрын
That was literally my thought the first time I heard this (was 2019, super late to the party). Decades later and bands are still trying to imitate this sound, not even coming close.
@laneweatherbee22322 жыл бұрын
man this song in itself is probably better overall than most of the Meshuggah songs that have come out since. This song is immediately metal, but quickly behind that its also funky as hell. If future metalheads want to beat this one they'll have to learn to mash funk, jazz hip hop and metal all together. If you look closely, a lot of the same rhythms are present in R&b and metal, and funk.

I think good/easy to use gear is important though. If a new player is playing on an awful strat copy with sharp frets and super high action they're not going to want to carry on, they're going to quit before they have the chance to get good. Decent entry level gear is becoming increasingly cheaper now, but the point still stands. Decent gear helps. Even for more experienced players, nice gear helps inspire you and enjoy it more.

I have to admit your Harley Benton sounds pretty good. My second guitar ever was a Harley Benton Les Paul...

depois deste video ainda mais motivação me deste para voltar aos covers! ja sabes tudo, es o guitarrista mais talentoso do KZbin e sem duvida os melhores guitar covers disponíveis! also 2:56 deixou me estupefacto, tu és um alien! also, o guitar tone rebenta com tudo! ORGULHO CARALHO!
