Hey guys! First of all, sorry for the light issues, im still a noob with the new camera. Also, i've waited until 400k subs to record this kind of hard songs so, depending on your comments, i will keep recording more challenging songs or i'll stay with the mainstream ones! Thanks for watching, drop a like and 100 comments!

Oh yeah! Been waiting for this cover to rear its "ugly" head in to your reputoire of interpretations on "hard" songs. Keep up the tough ones...animals as men, meshuggah, testament etc...loving it bro 🙌 👌 sure wish I had this training tool of youtube when I was a younger drummer. What a cheat sheet for all the drummer's out there to have. Stopping a 33 1/3 vinyl and squinting your ears on tunes like these to replay/rehear was such a bear as you could only truly guess what was being played. You are a true prodigy born semi between both old and new school and you're killing it!! Much Love!!

With how much I love this guy, I think he will agree the best drummer on here is eloy cassagrande
@bultronlagore4932
@bultronlagore4932 2 жыл бұрын
Why do you people say such stupid ignorant things?? When you say someone is the best there is always someone out there better. Plus when you say someone is the best your implying they are better than every other drummer. Have you listened to every drummer in the world or on this platform little buddy and are you some expert drumming judge that can nominate the best drummer to make it a general fact? No you haven’t, no you aren’t and no you can’t. There are so many unknown amazing drummers. Drumming, Guitar Playing, etc is to subjective to say who the best is because there are soooo many different styles even within the same genre of music. This guy is an amazing drummer but the best? That’s just an ignorant comment that usually inexperienced musicians and non musicians say. If you like this guys drumming better than other drummers then more power to you but saying they are the best is just a personal opinion which doesn’t mean 💩 in reality.
@asshollff
@asshollff 2 жыл бұрын
Dude chill it's a joke, to each his own, i was quoting El estephario sebiriano from his eloy cassagrande video. They are both monsters in their own respects and have completely unique skill sets and sound it's all good man.
@bultronlagore4932
@bultronlagore4932 2 жыл бұрын
@@asshollff I agree they are both excellent drummers. It’s funny I have noticed when people get proved wrong for saying something ignorant 9 times out of 10 when they have nothing else to comeback with they will resort to the usual “Chill out” and “I was just joking.” rebuttals. Nothing in your comment or the original commenters comment suggests you are joking. Also, I’m not upset or angry. I’m just calling it like I see it so it’s all good.
@asshollff
@asshollff 2 жыл бұрын
Just a recommendation since I used to do that a lot, just let people have their fun. Listen dude if I am joking then there is no need for that, and if I'm not there is still no reason. Joking is obvious why but let's say I ment it, that means that I'm either immature or at the beginning of my drumming journey (luckily I'm 14 years in to playing drums), if the person is immature then you won't change their mind, and if it's a new drummer that has an idol in that way (meaning "he is the best evarrrrrr") then let him have it since it's usually the person making you wanna be better. I was convinced for the first 4 years of playing that matt halpern was the best drummer ever and that made me learn so much good shit from either periphery of other projects he was in, that was my drive to learn from the best. Again I get what you mean but try and look at it from a more understanding point of view and point people to a better thing to learn. Let's say I actually thought eloy was the best, point me to a drummer that eloy looks up to and I'll understand on my own at some point that it's like a chain of reverence between the ones who are actually great and it will actually help the person be a better drummer. We all look up to someone and sometimes people idolize beyond proportion, it's alright it happens, don't be a dick about it. (Said by a previous dick such as myself)

Personally, I feel like Meshuggah tracks are basically all in the feet and more simplistic on the hands on the drumming side. On the guitar side, the odd strumming patterns are the hard part, everything else is pretty easy. Like, they aren't playing odd / spider chords or technically difficult riffs (aside of the rhythms ofcourse). I'm not saying that Meshuggah is a bad band at all, just not my cup of tea. Great band to learn songs from to get more proficient at writing and playing difficult rhythms with speed and accuracy though.

Time to be serious for a moment. This is not a video anymore. This is an EXPERIENCE. People often use the term "i have no words for this" but in this case it is more true than ever before in my life. On the one hand i can not get enough of your videos and i want to watch more and more. But on the other hand its almost demotivating cause i know i will never ever get to play only 1 Percent as good as you. xD However, i really can't tell you how much respect i feel for what you do. You literally DESERVE to go far and make millions of dollars with these skills. I mean, in times where autotune can make every non-talented mumbling idiot a superstar it is really even more impressive that people like you share this with us. I thank you so so much for bringing talent and level in this jungle of junk!

An important part of it died in your hands here...for me the embellishment in fills and increased tempo take away some of the gravity and unrelenting foreboding of the chaosphere version. Feels like the original isn't trying to get somewhere as much as it's just trucking along, no force could stop it. Phenomenal skill/precision and props for the originial take, though 🤘

This guy is obviously insanely sick. Probably the best drummer, technically, out there. But I prefer Tomas Haake’s version because all of the hyper fills this guy does kinda take away from the hypnotic swirl of the riffs that are so key to Meshuggah. A blistering fill every 8 bars kinda detracts from the groove, for me. Fun to watch though. Dude is undeniably mega talented

i remember thinking this song was fucking awesome but strangely in standard 4:4 drums, until i turned it up sightly and heard tomas haake going absolutely fucking nuts following the polyrhythms and my mind was fucking BLOWN dude. Meshuggah deserves so much fucking praise its not even funny, and this dude does too for absolutely murdering this

Top 3 meshuggah tracks. Got chaosphere in 99 and the sheer chaos of this record gave me a headache at first. I'm lucky to say I've seen them twice cause they never tour america

I think you are maybe one of the only skilled enough persons in the world who could replace Tomas Haake if he would leave meshuggah.

It amazes me how Wikipedia doesn't mention this beast even once in its article on "perfection" and gets away with it.

It is quite the achievement to make a Meshuggah song “your own”. And it is also very funny to play the **** out of it, in your own special way 😅 brilliant cover mate
