I am so happy that this African Institution is now in place. It has been a long time coming. Using a basic example, as a youngster, I would wonder why if there was a scarcity of vegetables, why it could not be ordered from another African state; or if plantain is scarce, surely it could be ordered from another nation on the continent. Growing up, I found the why. Let every nation co-operate with one another. If a nation puts a foot wrong, other nations on the continent should let them know that they have done wrong. The concensus should be backing each other in doing the right thing for the greater good. Congratulations!! We will succeed.✊

Chinese imports have destroyed the African industrial sector. COVID 19 made many countries start manufacturing their own face masks and ventilators. We did it then.. We're doing it now.. It is good that updates are being provided. I do wonder how well this facility is/has been advertised and how many people know about the afctfa. Often, these posts are poorly attended. If the public are not aware of what is happening on the continent they will not be able to take advantage of it.

No dear, i think dressing is not a problem on the continent. Problems are on cross border customs, corruption, substandard laws, among others. but on dressing, If African investors can produce ties and coats on the continent & employ African unemployed youth, then i have no objection on those who like ties and coats because dressing is all about personal dignity.

The AfCFTA has been made operational. Thousands of Africas flee to Lampedusa, Italy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/moW5lKyQocdoj9k And a political leader declares the key product for export is young people. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oITQk2dnrcuJiM0 There is not a coordination between what AfCFTA says and what the politcal leader declares. He doesn't see the potential of benefit of AfCFTA, this is why he consider that young people are key product for export. He didn't say how to prepare young to play a role in the framework of AfCFTA, but he said how to prepare them so they can be key products for export. The AfCFTA should tell such political leader that they have the duty to promote the AfCFTA so that it can represent a sort of window of hope for people in Africa. Otherwise, while the messages flow, the contradictions lead thousands to flee.

How can I trust this if African Union members could not finance this and have to depend on the European Union. I smell rat here. In you speech you mentioned that there will be a moratorium on duty for Covid 19 products I order for it to reach every country in Africa. My question to you is what percentage of these products are manufactured in Africa ?
