Message in a Bottle - animation piece in full.

The undeniably romantic notion of casting a message into the ocean and allowing fate, the currents, wind and nature to guide the journey and decide its final destination, formed the catalyst Ingrid Henderson's hour long audio visual piece Message in a Bottle/ Brath sa Bhuideal.
This animation follows that bottle, filled with a message of love and hope, across the oceans meeting all the wonderful sea creatures in its path and contemplating our usage and impact on our ocean environment. You'll see and hear about the herring shoals, the amazing basking shark feeding in the waters off the Hebrides, the storm petrels and arctic terns on their vast journeys and the gannet building its nest from the 'ghost fishing' gear left to break up in our seas.
