I used to hear mark verbos do live pa's in the early 90s. This has to be somehow related to him.

I am thinking about buying a doepfer A100 system 2 can any one tell me how much of a learning curve would be i have a basic idea about cv,s and have a few synth,s all ready. i have read some were it,s a good modular to start on, as in easy learning,

I would love a non-modular synth with that harmonic osc. It is so unusual and beautiful sounding, but I can't afford to get into modular synthesis.

Do it....do it....! Join the dark side. You know you want to. Plus, we have more cables :)

Ahaha. Yes I want to. Once I become a rich and famous musician, right? I'll tour with a giant modular rig and hire a stage crew dressed in black robes to change the patches between songs.

Eurorack is actually the most affordable way to increase the versatility of a hardware setup. You just need to approach it the right way.

Why are the modulars allways peeping and bleeping and hardly making any eh...."music' The rig looks cool as hell, but where's the music?
@themonohub54558 жыл бұрын
+Blatend Crude He mentioned a fair bit being based on Buchla, so I guess music wasn't part of his design priority, as Buchla wanted to strip away all the rules and just create sounds in an anarchistic way. Very unlike Bob Moog on the east coast of America, who based his designs on making music. I know what you mean though. I'm much more of an east coast philosophy man myself. I like melody.

Really like it that this guy brings these affordable buchla styled modules into the market, being a huge buchla fan myself. Modular is the ultimate in synths
