I really like his weathering was realistic, and not overdone like so many other 'experts'.

Hi Steven! Just curious, but where did you get this kit? I've been looking for a while and I haven't been able to find one online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I bought it quite some time ago from a local model shop, but you're right, it seems indeed more difficult to find these days... You can keep an eye on 'Scalemates' (www.scalemates.com/kits/airfix-a05120a-messerschmitt-bf109e-4-e-1--271978) : in the 'Marketplace' section some people might put up there kit for sale. - Also look at the 'Product timeline' and you can find the same kit with a new box-art and decals. Hope this helps, Cheers

This is amazing can’t believe doesn’t have more views. What is a good wash to use for panel lines, tried using citadel wash but it’s messy and dries quick so can’t fix mistakes
@stevenshobbychannel3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Will! I like to use oil-paint mixed with white spirit, but I also like the Tamiya panel line washes, as they are ready to use so you don't loose time mixing washes. The Tamiya panel wash can also be removed easily with white spirit.
@willneve3 жыл бұрын
@@stevenshobbychannel thanks! do you need to protect the paint layer before using spirit or will it only affect the wash?
@stevenshobbychannel3 жыл бұрын
@@willneve The white spirit will attack enamel paints/washes, but it should not affect the acrylic paints used for camo. It's always a good idea to test it out on a test piece or at least the underside of your model :)

I'd have added a drop of orange to the yellow paint...sticks out more.
@stevenshobbychannel3 жыл бұрын
Hi William, yes I should have done that indeed, I think I sprayed the yellow too thin which desaturated the color with the white base-coat underneath.
@williamfrederiksen56303 жыл бұрын
@@stevenshobbychannel , I'm building an older model with dark-green upper and light blue underside, with yellow rudder, underside of nose and wingtips. Doing it all by hand.
