He actually WAS on steroids back in the day:) It messed up his knees same as with Patrick Kluivert. When he was 17 he came to the Netrherlands to play for PSV. Kluivert was 18 and playing for the Ajax 95 dream team. They were young and a little frail for the Dutch Eredivisie competition. The rumour back in the day was that they shot them youngster's up with steroids to strenghten them. Many players from Ajax and PSV around that time got problems with their knees. Ronaldo and Kluivert were no exeptions, it shortened their careers by a lot.
