You are a breath of fresh air. MLS, USSF, pretentious youth soccer clubs, etc - they all want us to just nod and smile.

"You are absolutely right, coach. The valley's so-called top soccer scene relies heavily on small clubs and grassroots coaches who are the ones truly developing kids' skills. However, once these kids reach a certain age, the more influential clubs often lure parents with false promises. It's ironic that these clubs then form teams with the most talented kids from tryouts and boast about their success, attributing it solely to their coaching prowess. They use this success to recruit more unsuspecting parents, claiming they can develop their kids just as they did with the team, which is quite amusing."

I agree no stopping the game! Messi just hurdled the ball over the injured player which is fine. Promotion and relegation also exist in Asia for example every year they have an Emperor's Cup for men and an Empress's Cup for women. What happens in these cups is Pro League teams, College Teams, and some High School teams all compete and their players from these colleges and high schools get recruited to play pro J-League based on performance etc. There is no such thing as Soccer ID $Money Grab$ camps in Asia. You simple go to the college and show your technique and skills and you get into the college by your grades and SAT score and essay therefore everyone is a walk on to the college team.. it's not by some random showcase where some crazy opinionated coach see's you for the first time and is like oh wow this player is getting full ride scholarship... but then what happens next in these USA colleges is the college owns you!! And the roster size is 30-40 deep! Good luck getting any PT for 2 years unless you are entitled and come from some big money family.
