Nice video! We run a very similar setup here in Canada. Just wanted to put it out there so others know - the seperate cutting edges are actually a technology called Edgeflex. It helps the blade follow the contours of the ground so it scrapes up the snow better so that less salt is needed. A typical blade will not scape as nice as these blades do.

If I were installing this myself I may have used a white switch. I'd expect a dealer to have a matching switch.

Honestly was coming down here to comment the same thing, to me I expect the dealers work to look professional and to me that just dosent. Maybe if I made it I might use a white switch but it definitely dose not look factory at all. Looks patchy

we do a lot of snow removal at night, might be an advantage to have it stand out from the rest in the dark.

Why not have a 3 point hitch on the front to attach it to? Seems like a much simpler and more versatile approach.

the front 3pt mount is far more expensive, also would be too close to the tractor to get enough angle on the plow. Using Euro mount means the blade can also mount on a loader, or the belly mount can use a silage plow. Front 3pt is not a bad idea, but I've yet to see us use it like this.

Silly question.... Will those AG tires do well in snow? Here in North Central TEXAS we don’t get snow, so I just don’t know.

Up here in Canada we run the same set up as shown here and the ag tires are not so great in the snow. We decided to put Nokian tires on our M6-111 and a Pronovost Cyclone snowblower on the back. The regular ag tires slide a lot in the snow so Nokians make a huge difference in the snow.

I believe Nokian only makes winter tires. Ag tires won't be the worst but they aren't designed for snow. ag tires are probably similar to all season, do all tires, which means you can get by.

@@mitchellheyink7722 Ags work fine if the surface below the snow is loose/gravelly/rutted/bumpy. Something for the aggressive thread to bite into. On cold pavement, or even smooth, frozen well graded dirt roads, with a layer of hardback snow on them, they can be pretty bad.

I have a John Deere 4066r what size plow should I put on it a 6/11 or a 7/12 ? I live in New York mainly 4 to 5 inch snows wet any comment would be appreciated thanks for all your help !

I have a blower on the back from Normand and I went with the kage snow fire system front plow with a box that detaches hydraulically 8foot , same weight as blower , bullet proof made USA ,works off loader control ,thanks

Paying for the loader, vs already having the tractor sitting there doing nothing, makes the former a tougher sell. Straight pushes across big parking lots, along with roading between sites, is also where tractors suffer the least vs articulated loaders. This has got to be a pretty rich, and rather specialized, setup for a tractor, though. Even the fanciest rear mounted boxes look simple compared to this. While being much more natural on a tractor. But if the guy knows exactly what he's got planned for it, and can make the numbers work.... One "niche" where tractors can start becoming more sensible than other equipment, is fairly "simple," but power hungry, tasks done for lots and lots and lots of hours. And lots of miles of roading between sites. Tractors just cost less to operate, hour by hour and mile by mile, than other stuff. Mechanical driveline, solid frame etc. You never wear them out, and they require less and simpler maintenance. Lots of big parking lots, perhaps some distance between them, with no need for fancy stacking and maneuvering; and a guy running this, may well be able to come in well under loader guys, even if he has to pay for and maintain what has got to be a rather expensive plow setup.
