WOW!!! Dude, AWESOME video. I am a DIYer and have always been so intimidated by LED strips and how you would get them to work. Never understood the data wire simplicity. Only request is link some of the products you use for me to find them. Still just so impressed with your explanation and how you simplified it.

@19PatMcDowell902 жыл бұрын
Absolutely great finally again someone with an extensive amount of hands on knowledge who is willing to create content on very intuitive and creative engineering this is what I believe this type of work done to cars is, the reason why people don’t run underglow and dont install and run an entire setup inside and outside their vehicles such as the vehicles seen on glowe led is because really no very few people know about this. Most people who have valuable information or can spit game down to others are very selfish and will keep the information to them selves instead of showing others, so thank you again love your content and I believe all vehicles in the future will be having more eccentric, more ambient lighting, and forms of underglow from the factory I see this for the future

Great work. Can you answer a question for me? I have my headlight done. I would like to know how to wire the headlights so when I set the alarm or turn the alarm off, the eyebrows led to move and turn on like the daylight. The way you have yours set up?
@SquareWheelsAuto2 жыл бұрын
Thx for watching Ricardo. The BlueGhozt is the magic behind the welcome animations for all this stuff. You just tap the drl wire from your headlight harness and run it to LN1 on the Blueghozt. This question comes up a lot so I'll whip up a short explainer video

Random question. My Q50 comes with the stock welcome/puddle light under the side skirts. Do you know a way to rewrite those to stay on while driving. Maybe when the headlights are on or to a switch.
@SquareWheelsAuto Жыл бұрын
As long as you confirm they take 12v, you can just tap a circuit that behaves how you'd want them to. Headlights, DRLs, fog lights, or even anything that's on when the ignition is on. The world is your oyster! I would definitely recommend incorporating and override switch somewhere just in case there's a random situation where you don't want them running

Great video bro, you make an excellent teacher. I got a question in a scenario. I want to have under glow lights under my running boards that light up when I hit the door unlock button. (I want lights to swipe in one direction red, then swipe back to white and remain on for 30 seconds for lighting the ground below the doors at night). So my question is: if I have that setup, say on channel 1, can I get it to work if I have a relay that provides power to the controller itself and channel 1 to activate that channel. So basically, when I am away from the truck, I want the controller powered off to avoid battery drain. So when I press the dior unlock button, a latching relay would flip and power the controller from a full power off state. Does the preset on a channel remain after controller is powered off and does the controller take some time to boot? Thy is basically what I would like to know, to see if this is feasible or not. Thanks and keep up the great work!
@SquareWheelsAuto2 жыл бұрын
Disclaimer: I'm no pro I'm just some guy that likes messing around with stuff! If I were you, I'd keep the controller connected to constant power so it's always ready to receive triggers and tell the strips what to do. I'd just have the underflow strips on a relay that gets it's signal from the same trigger, so power turns on and the strips know what to do right away. That's how I've got my underglow setup for welcome animations 😈
@1windozesuk2 жыл бұрын
@@SquareWheelsAuto thank you sir! That is kind of what I was thinking as well, I keep a charged jump pack in the truck, so if it did happen to drain too much (probably won't) at least I ain't stranded. Keep up the great work, wish you all the success in the world
@SquareWheelsAuto2 жыл бұрын
@@1windozesuk haha careful man I was doing that for a while... You can't get in the trunk if the battery is totally drained! I've been running a second battery on an isolator for a few months and it's great for peace of mind, plus I can run all my accessories at meets and shows for hours and car starts right up 🤘 Be well fam
