I liked what the christian comedian Mark Lowry version of the water to wine story. The hidden conversation under the verse. Mary basically asking/suggesting "When are you going to start your ministry? Today is would be a perfect day to start." Lol

How does one speak to people's heart?
@Bagsy849 жыл бұрын
to speak to someone in a way that they dont just feel intellectually convinced but rather are moved to action based on it
@joshuac93786 жыл бұрын
To speak to someone's heart you have to speak from your heart. Truth in love and most importantly vulnerability. It's being completely real, unhidden, authentic and vulnerable.

The music artist, David Crowder, asked God that question, he wanted to make music to touch people's hearts ... God answered, write music to touch my heart. Ask God, touch his heart. Then he will touch other people's hearts through you.

@sciencegeekjsusfreak It is not the "Exact day" that counts, it is what you do for God in that one day. (be it Monday, Tuesday, or whatever day you desire). The Sabbath is not for God, God does not need rest, the Sabbath is made for Men, because God knows that creation requires rest and refreshment.

Anyone who corrects the King James Bible has a big problem with believing God....and believing God is who he says he is.

Have you ever dealt with some one who only acts biblically when it is in their interest, but when it's against them, they always turn it around on you and say you're not in a position to say anything? Yep, this is what it's like with my parents. So being obedient, etc etc, and they misbehave, and then when I'm driven to insanity, they turn around and start talking about discipline obedience, and they abuse the power again, and then go back to misbehaving. Now how many cycles do you think this can happen for, when they don't ask for forgiveness, and just constantly use God to their advantage? Because they are parents and thanks to the 4th commandment, honor your parents is in there? No human mind can take this unfairness, this suffering, this cheating, this abuse. It's basically dealing with psychopathy, and 'christians' get this power. Eventually, you quit the whole garbage. Now if God still wants to blame me for that, suit himself, he's clearly made me to be destroyed. There's no point arguing against him or fighting against him. If the situation was different, I would have turned out differently. To push me all the way to the end until I go over the edge, where even nonsense like "There will be a way out" becomes extremely unfair, until you just 'die', and stop relying on whatever works or deeds etc. That's where I am at. If Jesus has finished his work, and what he was trying to teach me is that I will fail, and that I have to give up on my works, so be it. I give up. But I'm not happy in the end. And I'm also going to hell according to your scripture. So your work wasn't finished. And you set whatever situations to be for me. I'm not going to be able to believe you when you pull such bullshit in this relationship. Obedience met with destruction. There's no support, the only people who care about me are sinners. And the ones who hate me the most are Christians. Who therefore is my neighbour? If anything, I can say I understand why people who fall away from God, or are unable to believe him. I'd rather forgive them. In the end when we tally the scores, bring out the census, etc. I'll have done less evil, and done more good than you (because I'm a doctor phew), and loved the enemies of God. And I'm still going to hell, because seriously, I don't think he's that great a guy if he wants to kill all my friends and send them to hell, whilst protecting his band of 'believers'.

Study ur bible properly, boy! "Children, obey ur parents in the the Lord".. Thats for children.. if ur old enough ur suppose to make decisions on ur own.. I mean, how long would it take b4 u can get ur own place even a rented one? Get out of ur parents.. if its ur parents house, it their rules, if its ur own place its ur own rules.. Walking with Jesus is like a drug or mental rehab, just a lifelong one.. be patient..

Where do you get the idea that you're allowed to speak arrogantly to another? Rather than empathize, your first reaction is to criticize. Is that Jesus' way of dealing with things? Perhaps with those who think they are perfect, but not so much those who have been hurt. Boy? Really? Did you sense pride rising in your chest as you spelt that word? Alas, you can speak down to another man, and so you do. And you would justify your arrogance with your being a better person. Where does your righteousness come from? Are you the source of your being better than I? Or have you been blessed more than I? Is it God? Or is it you? Perhaps you don't need God anymore. After all, you are good enough.

+Everyotheryoutuber hi there i am a christian , but i love you too. i feel sorry about the truth that all Christians are still sinners. We are far from being perfect. Sorry for what happened in your family and i feel sorry for how you were treated. I hope you can be comforted. You are not going to hell as of now. God will show you His love in some ways. He will send angels to cure you. It is God whom we believe, and not Christians. Please don't mind us hypocrites. We can't help it.....

You fail to call men into the same accountability for premarital sex. Many young women are led into sinful relationships, some are tricked, and some are actually raped. You make many good moral points and I enjoy your videos.

Have you heard his videos on sorting the men out - he pulls no punches and does call them to look for forgiveness for premarital sex.

He's good, a good story teller and reader but it amazes me how many Christians are so lazy that they need someone to read the Bible to them. Then they are awed and amazed, and give these people their money. In 1 John it says, the anointing you have received is real, you need no one to teach you. This is one of the biggest deceptions and hangups in American Christianity. Most people won't read the Bible on their own and are missing out on one of the best experiences of this life. - He's entertaining, though I can't say this is really the spirit I imagine God intended His word, the Bible, to be read and expressed in. I believe a lot of the reason he does this is most people, most Christians are not interested in the Bible without the humor. Hoochi Mama miracle? sad

Joshua Jesus said to his disciples when they too were criticizing another group whom they felt did not move around with them. Jesus said, 'as long as they are NOT against me, they are for me' So Joshua, heed Jesus and don't criticize the methods of those who are indeed for Him. Do you also read your Bible? Cos if you did, you would know this. Cheers!

He's very good at appealing to the listeners but at times he's a little to loose and it comes to a point where he shouldn't be saying certain things--very unfounded, uneducated, opinions that he should not be expressing.
@Standingearth7 жыл бұрын
I agree - he seems to be fairly ignorant and foolish, especially in regard to Jewish culture. Likely he is untaught and unable to read Scripture in it's cultural/historical context. It's an embarrassment that he's more of a clown and entertainer than a Biblical scholar and is able to draw a crowd - says something about Americans. But the real issue that I found offensive is his irreverence toward God; I think when he opens his mouth it's likely an affront to God.
