I would love to see a version of this where the recoil is the same as vanilla at the start, and then gradually becomes more and more, so the cheater begins to think that they are just so bad at the game they can't manage the recoil. It might also prompt a more blatant toggling too.

I think it would be fun to turn on the recoil thing, then sit them down and say you saw the recoil thing and you know they're cheating because of the recoil. They'll probably end up smashing a keyboard thinking they got caught because their cheat broke.

Tried getting back into rust recently and just seeing the chat and how many people were getting caught cheating made me hesitant about putting time into it. I used to play battlefield and cs all the time but the blatant cheating in every game has pushed me to just playing party based games with friends or single player. It's a shame because I really like the concept of rust.

A great idea for a plugin would be to have one that forces cheaters to shoot their team mates when crossing their cross-hairs. Another idea would be to do something similar but without a plugin, you just quickly pop in and out of vanish to attack their team mates to make them think they other was trying to kill them.

If it is possible, it would be cool if you made your recoil anti-cheat command not affect teammates and other people with the command applied. This would allow you to keep them guessing as to what’s going on meaning you would be able to hold them for longer.

Next time a cheater cheats and reports other people for cheating, please put them in a toilet and go, "So, we checked the logs and he's not cheating. Your shots didn't hit him. And that's not me saying you suck, that's the server logs. You were, like, point blank too. How did you manage to miss?" And just keep convincing them they suck at the game. Yes! I love this new recoil trick you've got. It shows just how dependant they are on their shitty aimbots. Out of interest, if they actually tried to control the recoil (manually of course) could they do that? It would be interesting to see how many of the cheaters actually decide to try and control the recoil the way normal players do or if they just give up without any effort. I'm pretty sure I know 99% would just give up but it would still be interesting. After watching a little more I don't think it would work well given that there is a little bit of lag before the recoil kicks in. It's so sad watching them run away when they realise they are fucked without their cheats. These people are pathetic. Congratulations on the 500k subs Camomo :)

This is really intriguing me. I don't suppose you code these things yourself do you Camomo, or do you have someone else do it? Reason being I'm wondering if it's possible to increase the intervals in which the recoil happens in milliseconds to adjust for certain weapons like the bow. With the bow for instance you'd probably have to make it so the recoil kicks in some milliseconds before the cheaters fires the arrow for it to work better with the bow. Likewise if you could make it so the recoils kicks in faster for those who have the snapback happen really quick with their cheat. I worry this may not work as simple as that given it's a server side input that has to then do it's magic to the client side executable, whereas the cheat directly interacts with the client's executable? I'm no programmer so excuse me if my terminology is off. I just really like this new toy you've got to play with and how much it fucks with the cheater's head xD
