Messmer’s helm increases Fire Knight by 8% and Messmer’s Flame by 3%. If you want more Incantation damage then slap on the Fire Knight Armor for an additional 5% damage. However the Fire Knight Armor only gives the buff unaltered (meaning it must have the cape on for the damage increase.)

@@taylortownsend9733 Same. Always Discus Hurl, Swift Slash, Greatsword of Damnation or Weed Cutter. Just L2 spam until they win, then they point down, tea bag, or do that whimper noise. I have a counter build I use when it starts happening, makes it hilarious as they scramble to understand what to do 😂.

@@digitalscott7732 I call it the Holy Roller. Use a Colossal Sword (I recommend Flame Knight Greatsword due to the fast R1 and R2 thrust) with Sacred infusion and Golden Land AoW. Have Elden Stars, a heal, and another tracking spell along with another AoE spell. Equip Golden Epitaph too for the AoW. Use Last Rites on the Golden Epitaph to increase damage from everything, then switch to the Colossal Sword and use Golden Land, immediately use Elden Stars, and you've got yourself someone running/rolling for dear life. You can perhaps try Golden Land again if they get close, and use the follow up heavy to knock them down. It's good to follow that with something like Greyroll's Roar to debuff them and deal damage as they get up. The start up should be long enough that it initiates when the opponent loses i-frames. This has worked for me plenty, it keeps them under constant pressure, and as long as you time crouch pokes and we'll timed lights/heavies they shouldn't pose much of a problem.

the main disappointing factor about Messmer's Orb as a spell (as evidenced by 3:59 ) is that it has like, no hyperarmor. though it's weird in that sense because it's an S tier spell otherwise, so hyperarmor might make it a little too strong, dunno. fun build either way, I'm a huge fan of builds that follow a consistent theme throughout, even if there's not a lot of variety to said theme. dedication to the bit is admirable

I hate messmers orb because just like every other weapon from this dlc it hits through dodges, every time I dodge (light roll btw) it stuns me mid dodge and then it explodes and kills me.

Fire Knight's Greatsword is my favorite weapon in the DLC. Throwing Flame Art on there with an insanely high Faith build boosts that fire damage to insane levels! I am also rocking the full Fire Knight armor set, with the Winged Serpant Helm, as 2 pieces of this armor set have boosts to either Weapon Arts or Messmer Fire spells. It's insane and I love it SOOO much!

May I request for the Obsidian Lamina? It's a viciously keen and slender scythe made for combat. The obsidian edge relies not upon trickery to fulfill its violence purpose - through skill alone the wielder can rip and rend through foes, sowing red blossoms upon the battlefield.

Winged serpent helm, Gravebird / Raptor jump attack chest piece, claw talisman and shard of Alexander makes dual Serpent flail (activated) can nearly oneshots with a landed jump attack. Can most certainly do with flame grant me strength & fire tear physick. Do what you will with this information.

I had to put down elden ring for a while because every invasion is a 3v1. I'm not amazing but definitely not bad when it comes to pvp but i miss the old days when it wasn't so unbalanced. Thanks for uploading, helps bring the mood up despite the constant ganks. On that note i miss when fight clubs were a thing ㅠㅠ

I know that its a nitpick at this point....but i absolutely hate that the snakemen are immune to all damage from fire.....i mean...i get it....but frenzy isnt just a fire....blood flame isnt just fire...and mesmers flame is definitely more than just fire....being immune to all fire damage while not a goddamn thing is immune to anything else in the game is just stupid....might as well make everything in the capital immune to holy, everything in acadamy immune to magic and so on with that kind of logic.... Edit: before the accuracy police show up, i forgot that ghosts and things of the not quite living including elden beast are immune to bleed....cause of no blood

Lots of enemies are immune to rot and poison. Almost every enemy is immune to frenzy. I believe Alexander is immune to fire as well if you summon him against Fire Giant.

@Gankstomper status effects I can understand.....but out right elemental damage immunity is dumb....not building up a proc or not catching fire, I get...but the straight up damage shouldn't be ignored... And frenzy still damages without the proc....unless your at the freaking volcano....which, if it can melt spirits...then wtf?!
