Good video mate, just wondering how come you leave the lids open when they fill up with water? And are plastic bags allowed in the recycling in your area?

Due to the quality of the area if you don’t leave the lids open it’s a high chance the tenants will just sit the recycle on top of the cans and plastic bags aren’t allowed but it would take me all day to try and filter it out

where i lived in 2014 at my old apartment they had garbage as front loaders and recycle as rear loaders now the funny thing about the recycle is that it came twice a year literally

are you a swing driver or are you just switching to rear load now? definitely enjoyed this a lot though, i definitely agree that this place needs dumpsters cuz if this is only like 3 days worth of recycling, then this is actually absurd. and like you even said, imagine the holidays man... but that great sight of all that forbidden garbage juice splashing around the hopper lol..bad day if any of that stuff gets on you though..

I’m a relief driver and yeah some apartments cheap out on the cans they use the main concern for them is garbage they don’t care about recycle overflow

Less water splashing back and since they are 90g carts it’s fully loaded which sometimes creates a small pile and spills out recycle

Instead of repeatedly bending over to pick stuff that has just fallen off the top up, I think I would have too the first empty cart back in and filled it with all the surplus that been balanced on the tops of the carts (Take them down to rim level). That way you save yourself the hassle of picking it up and doing multiple trips with just a few items.

Garbage should be sorted. And people prefer to throw everything into one bin. And they think that the problem is solved. Most of the waste is cardboard, glass and plastics. Thumbs up 👍

This is a 12hr route and I only clean up extra or any mess that I’ve made because If I deep clean every enclosure I won’t be able to complete the route due to not enough hrs for the day

Should be embarrassed showing videos. Good company and employees would sweep up the trash and not let the trash blow away from the truck. Guess this is what we expect and other countries like Japan laugh at us. And maybe it’s time for that facility to get a real dumpster
