What DO I collect? Hmmmm.... what don't I 😅 I love and have a lot of pretty and cute papers/ stickers/washi and duct tape/beads/ buttons/gems and card making kits. Oh so many kits. Non crafty things I collect are mugs and certain holiday decor like pumpkins and snowmen. Coloring books and colored pencils galore. Whew 🤦‍♀️

Your craft room looks organized to me even if it's super full of all kinds of craft supplies! Please take pictures of the messy areas that I'm sure you didn't show us 😅 before you do a major cleanup in those areas at some point to compare 😊

Thanks! It’s a total disaster to me, but I I think that’s just because it’s bursting with all manner of things. And you know I had to leave some surprises for the eventual big decluttering video! I originally meant to show every bit of the mess in this one to be honest, but I think it would have been several hours long if I actually went into that much detail 😅 I’ll definitely document even more of it before I make it all beautiful and aesthetic in the future though!

This video is mood! I have an entire section of "I may need this someday" including a jar of dried rosemary twigs because "I'm sure I'll figure out something to do with them" :) Also if you have an awl and a lot of patience, you can drill holes in seashells for stringing, that's how I did a full seashell necklace!

I’m so glad you can relate to this too! I actually have a box full of twigs, leaves, rocks, and other curiosities from nature that I can’t even get to right now, so same 😅 Ooh, thanks for the tip about the seashells! I do believe I have an awl somewhere in this mess, so that’s an awesome idea 🐚

I think if you did a "open a drawer and make something with what's inside" challenge, it would also make a good video! And maybe get you more inspired. I personally have a few small collections of different crafting stuff, and it's all sort of in different places. My art and bujo/stationery supplies are all around my desk, then I have a whole bunch of beading materials stored in boxes in my closet from when I got into beading in middle school (I'm now thinking about repurposing them for embroidery), and then I use these canvas different colored boxes to store yarn and knitting/crochet materials on bookshelves.

I’m definitely considering making some videos like that now! I think it could be a lot of fun. Ooh, I love the idea of having a bunch of little crafting collections! I think I’d be a lot less distracted by all of the other things I could be making if I had everything separated like that too 😅

Yeah! Putting things near the bigger tools you might need to help them get done helps too (ie. fabrics beside the sewing machine, paper and washi tapes around the desk, etc.)

My whole house is my craft room😵‍💫 I used to make “aesthetic posters” but I mostly crochet, paint, and draw now🥰 I also have a drawer dedicated to all kinds of crafting glue😂

Honestly, so is mine! Most of my craft materials just tend to congregate in this one room, but all of my jewelry-making supplies, ribbons, and a bunch more of my fabrics live in my bedroom as well 🤣 Yay, crafters with glue drawers unite! Your craft room is amazing! I store my craft materials in plastic and paper boxes - shoe boxes😁 not organized al all. And I collect a lot of things that I shouldn't collect. I cut stars from cds - very nice and shiny

The making of beautiful enchanting things - (just like our beautiful lives) - making promises to oneself 💞...always love your happiness and giggels sweet Echo. Oooooo potion bottles how beautiful and fabrics galore. The blue lantern ball (a giant lollipop - LOL). It's always so special we have childhood craft treasures still in our lives - the star punch is such a wonderous precious memory / treasure for you. (I still have my Aquarelle's - water colour pencils from childhood). It's wonderful you can sew and make clothes. Pipe cleaners I remember when they were called that too (laughs) . I love craft sooo much too - & keeping it affordable (I don't buy expensive products and often find things in op shops to use) - Happy Crafting all your treasures 💞

My husband says if we have a craft room then yes we are hoarders 😂 and my craft trailer... yes an entire actual trailer someone lived in... is full of crafting supplies and its a dang mess lol. I can't wait to see what you make with your fabrics! I have the same problem where I keep fabric and kind of collect it without being able to keep up projectwise. Most of mine is in my basement, but there's a whole chair full of clothes to upcycle in my bedroom. I like to store my larger pieces of fabric by wrapping them around pieces of cardboard. I'm so looking forward to seeing all of your crafts!

It’s so hard not to end up with rooms overflowing with fabric especially when upcycling old clothes like we both do! Yup, the active projects (all 20+ of them 😅) usually live in my bedroom too. One day I’ll get around to wrapping my larger fabrics around cardboard as well. Thanks for your kind words!

Old CDs can be played on a desktop with Microsoft's new music player. There are also portable CD players for cars and okd sxhool people. Lol if you have a windows desktop I can help you set it up. I JUST WENT THROUGH MY CRAFTS. I gpt it down to one bit box, a huge bag, and a smallet box. I have loose boards too. I'm with you. I want to learn to make everythibg.

That’s good to know! I still have a very old CD player for my music CDs. The ones in my craft room are mostly old promotional materials they used to send in the mail for AOL, etc 🤣 Oh wow, sounds like your decluttering went well! That’s awesome. I know, right? Hi Echo. Wow you have a lot of crafting items. I am the same way when it comes to crafting, I like to try a little of everything. Maybe that's the reason why I have so much and no room for it lol. I store most of my items in crafting containers but seems like I always have to buy more because they fill up so fast. My table is full of different projects because I start so many at one time (once again because I like to try different things) they lay around for a while and my table never seems to be organizes because of it lol.
