I believe the 1st generation lowers were designed to work with mustache bars. The vents were located inboard and function was not inhibited by the mustache mars.

Yes, I assume those should work fine. I like the looks of these better so went this direction. The vent opens enough as is.

Just came across video. Nice review. Also looking for trunk and batwing fairing options for my 2021 Springfield Darkhorse and dropped a inquiry to TCMT. Do not want to take a beating trading up to Cheiftan. Currently researching the fairing from Wide Open Custom.

dam your bike is gorgeous. i have the vintage dark horse 2021 and im about to put those front floor boards on that you have, they are really nice. i also have the TAB zombie slip ons.

These floorboards are very nice. I have them for the front and back. Pricey but very solid and very high quality.

Btw the harley lowers WILL fit the "normal" wngine guard bars on indians. I like the look of those more than the indian ones so thats what i got for mine, just gotta get around to putting them on. Lol

Tab exhaust with zombie baffles. It is also decated, camed, and tuned.

Are the storage compartments removable? Would like to add speaker pods in their place?

Do you think there is enough room to fit a 8" speaker like you can with the dirty bird lowers?

Do you think having those lowers on will Cut down the cooling effect The wind has on the heads?

I've had them on for a year and have not had any issues with heat or overheating.

Ok, cool! I just ordered them for my chieftain. How do you like them in summer riding? Do your legs ever feel to warm?

@shanecarr991 I told myself I would take them off for summer so I could get the full breeze on my legs but never got around to taking them off. Legs don't heat up behind them but they also don't get that full open feeling obviously. I might take them off for the summer this year if I am not too busy riding it 😀

I understand worrying about the mustache bars but why the hell were you worried about it being a Springfield? They are all the same bikes (chief classic to Roadmaster) just with different stuff added. A classic is just a stripped down Roadmaster or a Roadmaster is a "loaded" chief classic. All same bike.

I was confident they'd fit since as you say they are all mostly the same chassis. The site didn't list the Springfield as a compatible model until I made this video to show them they fit
