God, I hope you're right because I've had chicken pox, measles and mumps. I come from a generation that when one kid got any of the above, you exposed the other children to said child and got it over with and them immune. My mother took pictures of her 8 kids with spots and swollen cheeks. They're really pretty comical. Now they claim us old folks that had chicken pox will get shingles. Not yet and I'm also not buying that a disease can lie dormant for 50 - 60 years then come back. Sadly, we can no longer trust the medical professionals. They work too hand in hand with the government. I had those three diseases when I was four. I turn 63 next month. I'm so not buying that this is what shingles is and, so far, I haven't got it. (knock wood) But if I do, you know what? I'll either live or I won't. I'm old. I've lived a good life, a full life. I'm not afraid of death and I'd rather - as I've told my cardiologist - die a natural death than live an unnatural life. This body going to stop torturing me and die sometime. Probably, given my age and health, 10 years or so, give or take. I'm good. I'm at peace with myself. Why would I be afraid of death? If I die tomorrow - and I live with health conditions that make that likely - I die at peace with myself because I die knowing I'm a good person. I think if you fear death, especially if you're older, it's very telling that you have something on your conscience.
