I started both frontend and backend paths. Only 3 first modules of each are available up until today: 1. Introduction to web development, 2. Python, 3. Version control. Part 4 about Databases will be available later this month and other modules later this year. So far the courses where ok. Python course probably could have some more programming assignments to better establish the knowledge. And I’m disappointed that I need to wait for later modules.

I would recommend you to start with the frontend since backend seems to be a bit difficult for begineers, good luck

I agree with the comment above & from my research (not a dev yet), junior positions do not involve the backend often due to it having sensitive information more often than not. So companies feel more comfortable giving the front end to beginners due to the lower risk they take

Hi mate, I was in the same boat with you previously. But I get an advice from Senior Full Stack Developer. He recommended to learn Front End first. Without Front End knowledge, you'll be lost. I hope this will be helpful

Are the courses peer reviewed? The UX Design courses are, meaning other students got to grade you and I did not like that.

When you’re in design classes in college your peers get to judge your work. Atleast that’s how it was when I went. The grading part was really up to the professor but that’s usually only on exams.

Complete bullshit about Meta Frontend. Meta makes me just waste my money. Meta does not have the completed frontend course. The last 2 courses out of 9 are completely empty to date. There is no material for learning. And a month ago, the Advanced React course was only half completed. This is just cheating students. Shame on you.
