Great review man. If anybody is gonna push this mainstream, it’s meta. I want apple’s product to work out, but they priced SO many people out of the market with that one and didn’t even offfer any controller support. Not too optimistic about it. If the quest 4 increases resolution, battery life and adds eye tracking at an affordable price, nobody can beat them

frankly i think the quest 3 is better experience wise and support wise. there is so much more that you can do with it thanks to the controllers, also make sure the top strap is taking most of the weight, not the back strap.

It’s definitely better than the Vision Pro. With the software updates they are doing, it does everything the vision does plus the entire catalog of vr games. Vision is cool in the sense that it means vr will keep growing, but no way would I suggest the vision over the quest 3

It's more advanced, but technology isn't the only factor when determining a better product. You also have things like uses and software. Vision os has just a few gimmicks like pulling the iPhone out of the web browser and viewing it in 3d. But the software isn't that good, very limited store even though it has all the iPad apps, the hand tracking although extremely accurate has crazy latency so is unusable in games. Screen and performance are in another class, but just aren't used, there are no apps that actually require that processing power. Now resolution is worlds better.

I agree it’s a little overpriced. The Meta Quest 3 is close in technology to the Vision Pro, yet a fraction of the cost.

A Vision Pro owner like myself will buy a MetaQuest 3 but a Meta Quest 3 owner won’t pony up for a Vision Pro. I have both the MQP is for fun and the AVP is for a much more polished experience in its first iteration.
