Man, I wish everyone’s videos were this to the point!

Agreed, videos that go on forever typically lose me after a few minutes, especially if there's a lot of aimless rambling

Not a word and answered every question possible for the miter saw. Thank you

Perfect video, convinced me that I didn't need to pay more for other saws for the few DIY jobs I have to do at home. I just bought this saw for $120CAD, which converts to less than $90USD, I'm pretty stoked about this deal!

I never thought anyone could produce a review video without talking-no fat in this, and bang on point. I'm getting me one of these saws!

Thanks for sharing. I purchased this miter saw today from Lowe's. I decided to "attempt" to put up crown molding after receiving a $3k quote.

Nice saw for the price and 5 year warranty. Mind you, if any miter saw works for the first month the miter saw should work indefinitely over the miter saw's entire life span. While it won't take the abuse of a contractor grade miter saw, for the home DIY user the Metabo C10FCG is more than enough. What I really like the Metabo C10FCG is the brushless motor. In other words, the only parts that would ever need changing would be the saw blade itself. The saw blade that the Metabo comes with is very very good and should last the average home DIY user for at least +5 years before needing replacing.

Maybe the bolt you removed at 0:27 was supposed to be used for the fence clamp?

Hitachi used to make high end shit. Their electronics were top notch back in the day. I wonder if they have declined under their new name (Metabo)? Either way, this saw looks great for the price. I don't think you can beat it for $150ish

The bevel knob on mine is very tight. I can’t move it left or right very far. Is there a secret I’m missing?
@elvadrum4965 Жыл бұрын
@@speedforhire It was the handle I was referring to that was tight. My brother had to turn it for me. I’m using it fairly well now. Thanks!

can you adjust the cutting depth to limit the blade from cutting all the way through a piece of wood? (Cutting notches) ?
@fromthebackyard2415 Жыл бұрын
No. That’s only an option on sliding saws. Usually the more expensive ones

Think I should go get this while it’s on sale ?
@fromthebackyard24152 жыл бұрын
It depends on how you plan to use it. If you're just cutting trim for around the house or cutting 2x4's for framing or simple projects it is fine. I used mine today to make a new window frame and trim it out. I appreciated its light weight because I had to lug it from my shop and around my house. I've already gotten frustrated with its cutting capacity though. If you plan on doing more fine woodworking projects or anything more than just trim and 2x4's you might want to opt for a 10" sliding saw. I had my eye on the Metabo but it seems to have been discontinued. I've also had my eye on the Ridgid with the non-bar mechanism. If it goes on sale I will buy that. It's a big jump in price though. If you can find this Metabo for around $100 I think it's not a bad deal.

I can’t get the damn blade off😣
@JustinBollman2 ай бұрын
Probably reverse threads on the bolt so try "Lefty tighty, righty loosey". backwards threads so the blade bolt doesn't come unscrewed by the blade spinning

I understand the point of the test, but it's still annoying to see someone try things the hard way, or you also did tests on the tape measure.
