The black 2 hammer impact is the same as the green 2 hammer kit they sold up until earlier this year and we got a couple of those green 2 hammer impacts and 18V Hammer drills with two 2.5/5.0ah batteries, charger, bag for $60 each Also have one of the 2 hammer black and black non hammer drill All perform identically except the black have less features and black drill is not a hammer drill and a plastic chuck Good impacts but still prefer triple hammer for most fastener work

The quick connect is a patented design from makita. That's why so many impacts that u would think have it don't. I think milwaukee bought the rights to it at some point.

I’m all for metabo hpt. I’ve got an old hitachi brushed impact driver I’ve been using for over 5 years now and the 36v impact driver you have in your video. Would love to get the “bolt” impact driver but so far, i havnt found it in anything but a kit. So I’ll have to wait for now.

Same, I really want the bolt, but I am not paying $300 for that kit, its the most expensive impact on the market at this point.

I own both the Bolt and the regular Triple Hammer. To be honest, the only things I prefer about the Bolt are the size and the light. I feel that the Bolt vibrates more than the Triple Hammer and I like the settings better on the Triple Hammer as well. Don’t feel like you’re missing a lot.

My 18v metabo hpt triple hammer was a good impact, I used it heavily for about 2 years, including a lot of automotive work that was pushing it to the limit, a lot of roofing, dock work that was really hard on the tool. Lots of drops and oil spilled on it. I got it super on sale, around 40-50$. I’d say it is worth it for someone who isn’t going to use it as heavily as I did, and their warranty isn’t really that great, they often make you go somewhere far away to get it replaced and the service center they sent me to charges $20 a tool. Their 18v full size recip saw did not last me very long. I was hard on it but I still feel like it should have lasted much much longer, it made it about 6 months. I’m probably going to go with makita, hilti, maybe Milwaukee, something with a little better reputation for longevity as metabo is having more durability issues than I’d like to see. If I paid full price for these tools I’d be pissed but since I got a pretty heavy discount and some free batteries I’d say they were worth the money. It’s just not really my favorite platform by any means so far
