The most practical advice I can offer is locking yourself out of the internet and phone data at home, and practicing meditation like your life depends on it. That did it for me.

@@Tjenaretjenaremannen I absolutely do, it will improve how you feel and your productivity by upwards of 300%. I’ve been practicing Vipassana meditation for over ten years. I might suggest looking into one of those free ten day courses

Sir I want to make it a habit of understanding my own thaughts. Journalising my day, meditation and breathing techniques works for me but I am unable to make it a habit.

That’s a good goal to have - there is a science around making good habits. It’s vital to pair your new routine with a cue. Choose one, and make an IF->THEN rule for it. IF I’m finished breakfast THEN I journal for five minutes. IF I finished my shower, THEN I meditate for 10mins. It’s important to set your timer as a deliberate block of time. Choose your cue. Choose your habit. Choose the amount of time. Let me know how that works.
